They didn't put all the parts back on…
They didn't put all the parts back on our car after turning down their ridiculous high estimate and they were the ones that took them off! Happy we went elsewhere!

Hello Jim, This is about your 2003 Hummer H2 correct? No work was performed on your truck by us. We performed a Free Transmission Check (E-Scan & Visual Inspection) and informed you of Internal Transmission Problems. But you declined repairs which is perfectly fine. Never again
Wasn’t told in advance they were going to charge me $600 in labor for diagnosing the problem. Was however told that if needed a new transmission it could be around 3200... then came back with a 4500 cost.

Crystal, I know how Disappointing it can been to have a car problem and feel helpless to correct them! I know I explained the cost and the complete procedure to you regarding your vehicles repairs. Apparently I did not explain myself well enough for your complete understanding of the situation. If I had thought you had unanswered question I would have answered them for you. Dishonest
Dishonest. Tried to more than double the price.i found a more reputable company to do the repairs for the original bid. Repairs made. Truck running perfectly. Used parts? No. They putall new parts into the transfer case. The transmission was fine. They changed the filter and filled up the fluid. This is where you said the transmission had to be rebuilt or new. Which didn't need to be done at all. This is where you decided to try and pull one over on someone who you thought was ignorant.

Dominick, I know that finding out that your truck has a major problem is upsetting enough. Then to find out that your truck has two major problems not only doubles your pain, but also your cost to repair your problems correctly. I am glad to hear you got your truck repaired and back on the road working good. I assume you went with the used Units we talked about to save money. I am happy it worked out for you!

I received a quote for over $1100 to…
I received a quote for over $1100 to break down my transmission to see what the issue was and then I would know how much I would spend....umm NO! So elsewhere I went

Almost scammed by Michael cottman's transmission on Wornall
The manager Mike told me he would take care of my slipping transmission instead he never fixed the transmission...... I was in the process of having different engines put in and out of the car so seeing that I never received my new transmission work really took me by surprise... I had to threaten to sue cottman's before I was given new parts...... Not cool cottman's transmission on 80th and Wornall.

The mechanic told me I needed a new alternator, but all I needed was a battery.

Christi, I ‘m glad that you have your car back on the road. It is possible the alternator may be functioning but still has problems. When I perform “Batteries, Starting, and Charging Systems,” Test I use a “Midtronics MDX-224P,” which produces a report as to those systems’ conditions. That report is what I relay to my customers. If you would like, I would be happy to retest your car and give you the report. Kevin

Stalker company
Will never use them again. After agreeing to work on my car Pittman declined to make repairs after I had it towed to their shop. After refusing they charged me to store it. I simply got fed up and left it there.

Veronica, Sometimes car problems can be very stressful. I do try to make it as easy as possible. I know you had your Cadillac at another shop for several months and they informed you that your car had a major transmission problem. By the time you towed your car to my shop, the engine would not start or run. As I explained, in order for me to check your transmission, the engine needed to be running and I could get it running for you. You told me that you had a guy that would come tow your car and get it running for you. No one ever showed up after numerous phone calls and conversations. You abandoned your car here almost one year ago. Kevin

Kathy, I hope you were able to get the problem with your van repaired. It is always disappointing when you purchase a vehicle and then find out it has problems. I’m sorry our pricing is not what you expected. We charge $95.00 per flat rate hour plus whatever parts and materials required to repair the problem.
