I purchased these sunglasses 2-3 years ago. I had never heard of Costa before. I usually purchase 'Rider' sunglasses for $40 and use them as everyday (I'm a cyclest). I was informed at these sunglasses are made from plastic from the ocean. How amazing it that? These were the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I dropped them a dozen times or so. Not even a scratch or imperfection on the frames nor lenses. Let me talk to you about the lenses. They're glass. The polarized coating on these are extremely durable. They will not come off or fade from wiping or everyday use. Say goodbye to buying a new pair every other year. You can wear these in the rain while driving and actually be able to see better. These were the best sunglasses I have ever bought. I unfortunately lost them or they got stolen out of my car while on deliveries. I will not lie, I purchased these onsale. I'm saving up to purchase a new pair to replace the pair that got lost or stolen. I hope my review helps you make your decision easier. Bought 11/05/22
