I have owned 6 pairs of costa in the last 5 years. I’m pretty sure I’m the moron because I keep going back. I’ve tried every different design they offer and they all fail! The rubber they use for the nose support and on the arms disintegrates. I had the first pair warrantied and it was such a hassle that I never did another warranty claim again. They’re garbage! You’d think a company like costs would have figured out how to make good glasses by now. I treat my glasses like they’re made of fragile glass and they still scratch no matter how great I take care of them. I’ve tried the glass and the plastic lenses and sure enough they all get little scratches on them. These are supposed to be fishing glasses right? I owned a pair of cheap $20 calcuttas and they lasted me 8 years without any damage or scratches. My wife bought a pair and writhing a week one of the lenses cracked in half in the case!!! One week! We will never own another pair of costas for the rest of our lives.

Scheduled an eye exam for sunglasses off the Costa website. Went to LensCrafters and paid $109 for the exam. I then ordered the sunglasses from costadelmar.com and 5 days later Costa emails me saying that the prescription order was cancelled, and refund would be issued. They are saying the prescription is outside the parameters. It's not even a strong prescription. There is no disclaimer stating anything about parameters. I should be reimbursed for the eye exam, also. I took a half day off at work and drove 30 minutes each way for the exam. Very aggravated. I've ordered at least 10 pairs of 580G's from this company over the years for me and family. Never again!

The nose pad crumbled and fall off after a couple of days of use. I have 2 maui jims and i use my fantail only when im boating (about 4 times a year). I cannot find any replacment nose pads and even if i would be able to get one no idea what glue they use to stick it on. I googled and found out that there is multiple people out there with the same issue. My glasses looks brand new no scratches or any blemishes but the nosepads are gone. Would not recomend!

Spent hundreds on a nice pair of Rx Costas. Within a year they were warped and uncomfortable. Costa says that is not a defect and won’t repair. Several hundred down the drain ! Worthless crappy warranty

I wrote a review on June 5, 2024 (where I gave Costa a 1 star rating) and the automated reply was to contact them thru their website and submit a warranty claim. So, I filed a claim through their website and their automated reply was for me to contact the retailer where I bought the prescription sunglasses. The problem is, I purchased the sunglasses through Costa's website. Costa's MO seems to be DENY, DENY, DENY!!!

I have had at least 5 pairs of Costa sunglasses, and have loved all of them. I decided to order a new pair with my prescription. When I received them I noticed the frames appeared twisted. As I looked more closely I think they were melted? They were so distorted they did not fit at all. One lens was touching my eye and the other was 1/2" away. The lenses were half snapped in. The lenses has greasy finger prints all over them. I sent them back immediately and I'm still waiting to hear from someone.

My eye Dr. Sent in my prescription for rx polarised lenses a month ago and I still don't have them I would recommend that no one use this company for prescription lenses maybe just buy regular sunglasses. No way in hell does it take a month to make 2 lenses.

Ordered two pair of 580 glass Costas during the fathers day sale. One pair was too large unfortunately, called and spoke with customer service about an exchange for equal value. Wanted to exchange for another pair as I originally ordered that fit, same price ($3 cheaper actually than the return), just in a different lense color. Was told that was against the return policy and I would now be charged full value for the pair I kept and a return on the pair that didn't fit. No equal exchange or even the fathers day sale of $40 off for the one pair. After all, I bought them both during the sale, and I'm losing that benefit as well somehow on the one pair I want to keep. The result, getting a RA number to return both pair and buying a pair of Maui. Had Costas for 25 years, highly disappointing.
