I ordered a pair of prescription glasses that I was hoping would replace a pair from a different brand that I’ve had for years. When I received them the black frame looked like it had been partially buffed off. Other than that I loved them and almost kept them but I knew the discoloration would bother me. I spoke with customer service and was told that I could return them and wait for a refund. I had already waited a while for these to arrive now I’ll be waiting again if I reorder them. For the price and quality of these glasses I’m surprised this glaring flaw in my glasses was overlooked. Otherwise absolutely beautiful glasses.

Have had 3 pair. The first fell apart at the hinge and the rubber separated from the frame. The next pair the lenses are scratched from normal cleaning and the rubber is separating from the frame. The 3rd and last pair I will ever buy have plastic around the nose rest that has dry rotted and cracked.

Terrible customer service. Ever since that large company bought them, they've gone straight down the tubes. Don't stand behind their warranties and awful customer service. Would never but a Costa product again.

Terrible warranty request process. Brand new glasses took to costa dealer the day they arrived and was told by sales guy and his manager to send back because of factory defect in both arms of fantail blackouts 580g. After going through their warranty process was told denied because no receipt post(my fault) sent them the correct proof of purchase and then was told denied because it wasn’t warranty. Ordered two pairs one for me and one for wife but both were totally different? And they would not even take the time to hold them in their hands and make sure it wasn’t defective. They just looked at the pictures I sent in. What happened to being fair. All I asked was to fix the pair I bought but all they offered was for me to buy another pair? Really why would I want to spend another 300$ to take a chance so you could try and sell me another pair. How about fixing the first pair like they supposed to be before trying to sell me another pair. Sorry I had to give you bad review. I’m 44 years old and this is only third review I have ever left but felt this was definitely deserved for the amount of money I spent and the terrible experience I had. I work to hard for my money to just give it away. Next brand I will buy in store maybe that’s what I did wrong. Good luck

Horrible costumer service! Ordered a pair of sunglasses that were returned to sender in response they said would refund and give me a voucher to order another pair. Had to call more then 5 times finally got my first order covered and then vouched bounced and charged me again. Been near two months and still waiting…

I ordered a pair of the Brine style sunglasses for my brother for Christmas. I received them very quickly, and everything was great. Within three weeks of my brother wearing them, one of the lenses spontaneously just fell out of the frame and cracked. This happened while he was driving a car and sitting still. He contacted Costa to see about a repair, and they told him he'd have to buy a whole new set of lenses for $140. Costa is supposed to be known for its durability and reliability, but I am super unimpressed.

Last December I contacted Costa Del Mar for a repair service for some of my husband's glasses, clearly understanding that it was not a warranty. Send images that showed the problem. I received a communication with an estimate of $85.57, which I accepted and proceeded to make the payment immediately. I sent the glasses and two weeks ago I received them without proper repair. After they did not carry out the repair, I have not received a credit for the money paid. I have been a client of Costas del Mar for more than 25 years and we have over 6 different models of glasses. But now I won't recommend them anymore.

Awful experience. Purchase a pair of new sunglasses in July of 2024. Broke in January of 25. Would not stand behind their product. Never buy again. Sunglasses broke apart at nose piece. One star is too much for them.
