I’m extremely upset with the new quality and outsourcing of repairs of Costas. The mirrored blue lenses don’t withstand conditions of being on the water daily. Mine are prescription and when i tried to get the lenses fixed, I was referred to eyeglassesdepot.com. They don’t do blue mirrored lenses. On top of that they didn’t fit into the frame correctly, leaving a large gap along the top. I sent pictures and they apologized offering to fix them again. Sent them back in, finally receiving them back in the same condition. They are now trying to tell me that’s how they fit originally. Maybe if they’re referring to the second time when i sent their botched repair. Now i have unwearable sunglasses and it cost me $174. I should have just bought a brand new prescription with a better company like Maui Jim’s. Will not be buying Costas ever again.

Wish I could give them 0 stars! The lens cracked in the corner of my sunglasses which was odd since they were in the little bag for protection and sitting on my desk. Submitted a service request to have a my lens in my sunglasses replaced or see if it was still under warranty. Well unfortunately it was not covered since it was just past the 1 year mark. They said they could replace it for a fee so I submitted it for replacement received the shipping label and sent them off. A week later after they have been sent back the company never processed my payment to fix the lens and customer service canceled my request. So I contacted Costa customer service and was told that there was an error on there side and basically could not fix them and in return they gave me a 30% discount on a future pair on there website and they have my glasses. I have never had the worst customer service from a company. I will never buy anther pair of Costa sunglasses again. Disappointing to spend that kind of money and they don’t care about the customer.

Costa sunglasses have seem to have lost the quality.

There is a reason this company faced a class action suite. They make it impossible to repair or replace your glasses! The process is set up to be complicated with back and forth case numbers that most give up like me. I have 3 pair I want fixed and am willing to pay them to do so. They claim that for $18 they will fix them, not so. I will go to Maui Jim from now on.

My expensive Costa sunglasses are coming apart at the frame arm like a cheap pair from a discount store. What about the warranty? Oh, that’s not a manufacturer defect! But we will sell you another pair at a discount; $207!! Right, I’m stupid enough to throw good money after bad!! Save your money, buy another brand. Costa does not stand behind their product.

What I received from Costa wasn’t what I wanted or ordered. Costa wouldn’t correct this by sending what I ordered. Instead they wanted to refund 20% of what I paid. Despite asking for this to be corrected by sending the sunglasses I ordered they wouldn’t do that. Eventually they said they would refund 50% of what I paid. I can only say buyer beware.

Extremely disappointed with Costa Del Mar I genuinely believed I was buying a premium product backed by premium customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has completely changed that opinion. My Costa Rincon lenses cracked, I contacted Costa expecting that, even if it wasn’t covered under warranty, I would at least be able to pay for replacement lenses or have the sunglasses repaired. Instead, asking for a solution Costa told me that they wouldn’t repair them or provide the replacement I wanted. For a premium sunglasses company, I find that incredibly disappointing. I’m not asking for something for free - I’m asking for the option to pay to repair a product I already own. It’s especially frustrating because Costa markets itself as a company that supports its customers and offers repair services. Yet when you actually need help, the answer can apparently be that they simply don’t repair glasses outside of warranty. I won’t be buying another pair of Costa sunglasses. I ho, I ho. Back to Maui Jim I go… Premium prices should come with premium products and premium after-sales service. Costa has lost me as a customer.

I spent 300 dollars this spring on a pair of glasses and a c line retainer. Very light use and never submerged the glasses or retainer. Worn almost exclusively on the way to work while driving my car in the morning sunlight. The retainer wire is nearly rusted solid after just 4 months of use somehow despite being covered in plastic. I put in a request to replace my retainer and they declined to replace the obviously defective product. *Update Sent an email with relevant details to the email provided. Andre responded to me with an expired discount code. Sent 3 emails over past 2 days with screenshot of on screen message indicating the code was expired. No further response from Andre
