We have been going to Corolla Light for the past 20 years. We recently stayed at Whispering Pines 9 and were very disappointed. Stove wasn’t properly cleaned and caught on fire. 1980s refrigerator took 3 days to make ice and cool below 40 degrees and that was after the technician hard reset it. Hot tub never worked for the whole week. Property abuts route 12 and it is the only house that the trees either died or were cut down. The only positive of the house it came with a beach storage locker, which was needed as it is far from the beach.

We watched cleaning people go in an out all day until 4pm and when we were aloud in the house it was filthy. Floors were not swept, carpets were not vacuumed. Food crumbs everywhere. Dust everywhere. Cleaning lady was very rude. After numerous phone calls while we were there and even several months after we got home we were offered a whopping $100 off our next stay. We rent $9,000.00 homes. Thanks but no thanks. We will rent from Twiddy!

Things were broke... and didn’t work. For the price I paid, it was ridiculous. Won’t go back to that house
