2 weeks Holiday at Cooks Club Alanya Turkey The hotel is nice the rooms are ok, comfortable and very clean The restaurant is not so nice, I paid for half board which included breakfast & evening meal The breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast which included ham, cheese, eggs boiled and scrambled, croissants and bread rolls and waffles But the evening meals, of which I had once, not very good at all, I had the option of turkey, rice and vegetables and not much else, I was very disappointed and did not eat there again because as for the next 3 days I had food poisoning and was very poorly and was unable to leave my room. I also learnt afterwards so did a lot of other hotel guests … we did inform the management of the hotel but they didn’t care ! The drinks at the hotel bar are very expensive I ordered a pink gin and sprite at a cost of £11 I nearly fell of the bar stool ! I was offered to upgrade from half board to all inclusive at at a price of 55 euros per day - I declined But on a positive note - as I didn’t want to eat at the hotel I booked a table at the the house of Bohem a perfect beach restaurant adjacent to the hotel - this restaurant is perfect, the food is amazing and at a reasonable price too - I visited this restaurant every night it was perfect . I do not like leaving a negative review but I feel I needed to be honest . I will not be returning to cooks club in Alanya again
