Layne was so incredibly helpful and thorough in getting us answers to the questions that we had. They replied to us super quickly and followed up within a day for inquiries that they had to check with their team about first. We have not moved into our apartment yet but so far the Common team has very very kind and responsive.

Common is a great service for those that WFM and don't want to put much thought into moving, purchasing new furniture, and maintenance. It gives one the ability to focus on their work. That said, I am giving it 4 stars because, in the beginning, it was somewhat frustrating to get in contact with the team as I was going about signing the lease. Other than that it's been cool.

It is impossible to contact this company. All you get are autoreply marketing emails. It's a loop that tells you to schedule another tour (there are never any available anyways) and asking you to answer the same questions you have already answered several times before. I've been trying to get an application from them for weeks because they are one of the only places in Jersey City that offer shorter leases.

Common s a great choice for renting through out nyc for all from there accommodation and wide variety of location they offer . Also there customer service is great. I’ve been with common for a year now and not one issue and they are always on stand by to assist if needed . If you new to nyc this is a great option. Also wanted to say thank you to Gaven from the very beginning.

Hello. My wife and I were once members at one of the Common apartments. After leaving, we were worried about not being able to receive our important mail that had the Common address and not our new and current address. I contacted the Common team with our concern. While all of the team was helpful, one member stood out the most and was always very professional and very helpful and that was Layne. I was always found Layne to be reliable and always willing to go the extra mile to help us solve this and other issues in the past. I just wanted to give shout out and thanks as always, Steven O

Honestly I was soooo cautious and worried about moving in here. Living with people I don't know in a place I don't know!? But with COVID my friends that I had planned on moving with were no longer moving. I signed a six month lease and I'm now renewing for 15 more. I absolutely love my apartment, I absolutely love my roommates. This place is beautiful, came beautifully furnished, and whenever we have the occasional issue management is usually there day of to fix it. Obviously if people ended up with bad roommates this would suck- but mine are now my best friends in the city! I love Common and I feel so fortunate to have come across this opportunity.

Common made moving to NYC with short notice so easy and exciting! The staff is very easy to contact and flexible and considerate with everything involved in the process of leasing. I've renewed my lease with Common and couldn't be happier with my experience before and during my time living at Common Havemeyer!
