CommonReviews of common.com

God awful property management company. Zero customer service, advertises amenitites then takes them away for no good reason even though we are PAYING for them, will find any reason to charge you extra for anything, and worst of all once our owners figured out how horrible they were and switched companies, they charged us the rent the month after they were no longer affiliated with this buillding!!! Don't ever use this PM unless you want to get screwed.

Very disappointed by their customer service. They won’t answer my emails without using a robot, and their team hung up on me as I was seeking for genuine communication. So I’ve signed a lease with Common back in November 2020. The construction of the apartment kept on getting delayed, and after 5 months of my lease being pushed back, I decided to void my lease and get a full refund. They initially told me that I would get my full refund, but came back to tell me that my payment was too old for a refund to be made. So I gave them my other bank account to transfer the refund. They told me in two weeks, the money should hit the account. It’s almost been two months since then. I calmly asked to speak with their finance team about my refund, they hung up the phone. None of my emails are replied. They promised a refund. They won’t answer their phone nor an actual agent reply to my emails. Customer service wise, I am very disappointed. So disappointed.

Layne part of the Member Support Specialist team was a huge help and always responded swiftly and with great answers to my questions

Wasn’t a great process

Horrible experience. False advertising. I was looking to get a room on a short lease. They advertise everything is included. Well I found out it’s not. Of course they flagged my review to management because they are lying to the public and they don’t want management to see how they are deceiving them.

I am writing this review to acknowledge the amazing customer service and humanity of Archolo and how he worked to resolve a very difficult situation. My son, Josh Dominguez, had no AC in his apartment in NYC on 103rd and Madison. My wife and I were unable to get in touch with anyone in the office and were growing more and more concerned about the heart in the city. We called one evening at Archolo answered the phone. Archolo stayed with us on the phone and with this issue for two days until it was resolved. He even called us back one night when he was sick. Today my son has AC and his windows are open because of Archolo. He is an amazing employee and I anyone who lives at Common Living in NYC is better today because you have someone like Archolo working hard for you. I intend to take him for lunch of dinner if I am ever in NYC as a thank you for taking such great care of our son.

Great Experience with Cody! Cody Prescott Kindle from i5 Union Market was super enthusiastic and welcoming when I toured yesterday! He gave me a thorough tour and answered any and all questions that I had.
