Very terrible experience. I called in advanced to schedule a tour. Of course i ask the woman a lot of questions because I didn’t want to waste my time when i went to see the actual place. She said the monthly would be 1,400. The deposit was one months rent. There was no credit requirements as they are for affordable living. And that i would get 2 months of rent for free. The moment i meet up with the guy who was giving us a tour of the BEI (His name is Christopher Desponds) it all started good. But the hotel turned into studio living was in terrible condition. I guess they allowed pets and there was pee all over the outdoor area. You can feel how hot and musty it was in the building and the ceiling was chipping off and you saw pieces of it on the floor. There were stains everywhere and on the beds there were blood stains. The best part of it all. Was that the room was actually 1700. Christopher blamed it on these people in the Philippines getting it wrong( mind you im filipino) but the parking for the hotel was 230 a month. So 1930 in total. For no kitchen and a very small room. BUT in total if i was dumb enough to actually lease that place for 12 months. I wouldve paid more than 2,000. Not including the application fee AND the 300 dollar fee they hold until your application is finalized. Which you’ll get the rest of the money back ONLY after the two free months are over.

Hi Jas, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience when touring the BEI hotel, and we're sorry to hear that it was anything less than stellar. We've taken your feedback and escalated it appropriately to minimize any gaps in communication between our remote and local teams moving forward. Chris is also working with the onsite team at the BEI hotel to review your feedback and make sure the units themselves are up to par. We are able to confirm that all units are inspected carefully prior to tours and move ins, but apologize if that wasn't the case when you were at the hotel that day. Thank you, again, for your feedback, and we wish you luck on your apartment search! - Cassi

The app is difficult to use. The events say full when they are not and you have to use a different link to register. Also no one monitors the “ask a question” part. They are not advertised well and could be planned better with more information available. Honestly, I have nothing positive to say about Common in general. Nothing is done well and it is made to seem that it is the residents fault when that is clearly not the case. Shall I go on? Lol.

Thank you for providing your feedback and we are sorry to hear that you’ve had a negative experience using our events platform. We are actively working on improving our platforms, and would love more specific examples as to which event you are referring to. We encourage you to email [email protected] so we can help!

I am very grateful to move in a facility like this. The front desk personnel are so nice. I love the package delivery system. I work remotely so I make the best of the space I have.

Leah Hight was amazing and made the whole process super easy! There was a small issue with the normal application link and she quickly found a way to get me access to a working link. Very personable and savvy!
