I found the coffee extremely disappointing. Despite the different varieties and descriptions, they all tasted more or less the same to me—flat, one-dimensional, and lacking the depth, aroma, and complexity I expect from a genuinely good cup of coffee.
Whatever brewing or processing method the company uses simply does not come close to the real thing, in my opinion. The end result tastes artificial and uninspired rather than like properly brewed, high-quality coffee.
Given how dissatisfied I was with the products, I contacted the company and requested a refund. Unfortunately, my request was flatly denied. Considering the quality of the coffee and my overall experience with the company, I cannot recommend either the product or the customer service.

They sent the package to the wrong…
They sent the package to the wrong house twice. First time customer support was helpful and responsive and they sent me a replacement order. The replacement order was sent to the wrong house AGAIN. The same wrong house as the first time. Both times the delivery person took a picture but both times it was at a different house with a similar address. I emailed again and this time they ghosted me. I don’t know who they use to deliver the packages but they are not reliable at all. I’ve never had issues with a package being delivered to the wrong house twice. I was excited to try but won’t be ordering from here. They are not cheap either so very disappointing.

Poor Customer Service
I really enjoy Cometeer’s coffee—the product itself is convenient, tastes great, and is something I genuinely want to keep ordering. Unfortunately, the customer experience has been extremely frustrating.
The app does not accurately update or reflect my upcoming boxes, which makes managing my subscription much more difficult than it should be. Even more disappointing is the customer service. Cometeer states that they respond within one business day, but that has not been my experience. Getting help with an order or subscription issue can take days, with very limited communication along the way.
I also discovered the hard way that Cometeer contracts out its delivery service, which can create a major problem if you live somewhere with restricted access, such as a military installation. My order could not be delivered to my home on base, and I spent about a week waiting and trying to get the issue resolved with very limited customer support. There should be a clear warning before ordering if their delivery provider cannot access certain addresses. Instead, I had to find out only after my coffee failed to arrive.
As an active-duty military household living on base, the experience was especially disappointing. It felt like we were being penalized simply because of where military service requires us to live. At a minimum, customers with military-base addresses should be notified upfront about potential delivery restrictions rather than accepting the order and leaving the customer to deal with the problem afterward.
For a subscription-based service, a reliable app, dependable delivery, and responsive customer support are incredibly important. It’s frustrating to genuinely like the product but have everything surrounding it require me to cancel my subscription. The coffee is great; unfortunately, the customer experience has not been.

Signed up and charged for an additional subscription I did not want
I had a horrible experience with Cometeer's email and subscription system. When I purchased the World Cup pack, I was signed up for an additional new subscription in error. I did not receive advance emails saying that subscription order was about to be sent, and I checked spam.
I asked support to cancel both my normal order and the unwanted extra order. Instead, I was told the mistaken subscription order was not cancelled, and I was charged for coffee I never meant to subscribe to, was never alerted about, and never got to choose.
The product may be interesting, but this support experience was bad enough that I would warn people to be very careful before ordering.

Don't get the trial offer, SCAM
I ordered a trial box and the company signed me up for a subscription. This wasn't a checkbox I missed, I was very careful to make sure I wasn't signing up for anything. COMPLETE SCAM.

I see I am not the only one
I see I am not the only one. Received an email from a friend to “try” their coffee. It states just pay shipping and you will get our discovery kit. However, follow the premise of that offer and it will default you into an auto $90.00ish subscription. You have manually opt out of the default to just try the coffee as presented in the email. The coffee maybe good, but they are not a good business/company.

Hi Nolan,
Sean here. I run Customer Experience at Cometeer.
I took a look at your account and went ahead and refunded the unwanted order for you, so you should see that back on your original payment method soon.
I’m sorry for the frustration here. The Discovery Box does have two options during checkout: a one-time purchase or a lower-priced option that enrolls you in the membership, which renews two weeks later with a larger box. That said, if the experience left you feeling misled, that’s on us to take seriously. I’ve shared feedback like yours with our product team so we can keep improving how this is presented.
Feel free to reach me directly at [email protected] if there’s anything else I can do.

Highly duplicitous subscription…
Highly duplicitous subscription practices that are designed to entrap customers. Avoid using this company and especially avoid signing up through any special offers/promos. Horrendous customer service that takes days to answer and then just responds with quotes from their FAQs rather than trying to resolve your issues.

I’m really sorry to hear this was your experience. That’s not the standard we aim for, especially when someone is reaching out for help.
If you’re open to it, please email me directly at [email protected] so I can take a look at what happened and work to resolve it for you. I’m also happy to review the support interaction you mentioned. Quoting policy without actually helping someone move toward a solution isn’t the kind of experience we want customers to have.
Regarding the offers you mentioned, some promotions do enroll customers in the membership during checkout, but that should always be clearly stated and easy to manage or cancel. If that didn’t feel clear in your case, that’s important feedback and something we want to learn from.
If you’re willing, I’d appreciate the chance to make this right.

Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. Can only contact through email which can take days and then the responses are incredibly unhelpful. Just responded with answers from website when I obviously needed more help than the FAQ.

I’m really sorry to hear that this was your takeaway from the experience. I took a look at your conversation and can see how frustrating the start of this order must have felt. There was a delay getting the shipment out, and then the box arrived in rough condition with the seal broken. That’s obviously not the experience we want anyone to have, especially around the holidays.
From what I can see, our team did replace the shipment for you once we learned the package had likely been opened in transit, but I completely understand why the earlier delays and back-and-forth could have left you feeling like you weren’t getting the help you needed.
If there’s anything that still wasn’t resolved or if you’d like me to personally review this further, feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]. I’m always happy to take a second look and make sure things are handled properly.
I also appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. It helps us identify where the experience can improve.
