App made it easy to decide on a hairstyle that fits my face. I really need to refresh my look as I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight and gained confidence.

They couldn't have gotten my colors more wrong. I was just trying to figure out what kind of Winter I am, and this silly thing told me I was a Light Summer! Pastels make me look tired and washed out and are my absolute worst colors -- while jewel tones, especially emerald green, always get me compliments. The face shape analysis was totally off, too, but that's partially on me for using a current photo with bangs. Instead of asking for a photo with my hair pulled off my face, it made assumptions about my forehead size and shape that were totally wrong. Believe me, I WISH I were an Oval, and I actually style my hair to create that illusion. The whole "analysis" was under $5, but you get what you pay for. Not accurate or personalized at all. I don't know what algorithm this app is basing its recommendations on, but a random stranger off the street could have done a better job.
