Our 1st daughter was finishing her sophomore year when my wife and I stumbled upon a free face-to-face seminar about college application downtown Atlanta. We took lots of notes and started to shop around. We finally found Collegewise to support the whole family through this journey to college. We must emphasize “whole” because the decisions made were looked at from a holistic standpoint and measuring the pros & cons of each university our daughter would be interested in attending. i.e. cost coupled with merit scholarship availability, location, reputation on certain majors, career prospects, potential internships while in college, all the way down to the “look & feel” once it’s time to pay a visit. Anita Gajula, our counselor, did genuinely understand our needs and wants (and fears!), but also was able to take side discussions and be an unbiased sound board for us, the parents. As far as we are concerned, we’ve had a very good experience. Thank you.

I've had a great experience working with CollegeWise and my counselor Anita! I was very worried going into the college application process, but Anita made the process a lot easier by helping me brainstorm essay ideas and providing quick feedback. My counselor Allison Lopour is pretty much the only reason I got into college, and with a stress-free experience! I've had Allison as my college counselor since I was a sophomore in high school. As a younger sister I've heard all the stories of how stressful it is writing essays, filling out applications, and finishing everything on time. Allison and my writing editor made all of this feel like a breeze and were very flexible to my busy schedule. They both helped me so much with strengthening my writing, organizing all of my schools and applications, and providing insightful views on colleges I hadn't heard about. I was looking for college counseling options for our daughter, who is a sophomore after a bad experience with the previous company that we were working with.I wanted to make sure we make the right choice this time and had our sessions with multiple other places before deciding to sign up with CollegeWise. I had my 1st meeting with Na'ama Landau and really felt heard.She truly wanted to know more about our daughter and spent quite sometime just getting to know her so she can be placed with a counselor that would be a right fit to make the process as smooth as possible during the application time.I talked about our expectations and some of the concerns that we had.She genuinely wanted our daughter to have a great experience and offered to help her meet with a counselor before we make our decisions.I never felt any pressure or push from college wise to sign up for the services. We recently used Allison Lopour from Collegewise to help our daughter, Nikki, navigate preparing for and applying to colleges. She worked with us for the past three years and gave us great guidance and advice. She is alot of fun, gave us great advice, made the experience very enjoyable for us. Our colleague referred us to Cortney at CollegeWise. Cortney really made the experience special as she really spent her time listening to us and understanding our expectation. We sent some high level information about our son before the meeting and we could tell she took her time to review the information and prepare for the meeting. Throughout the meeting, she was supportive and cared about the outcome. It was a refreshing experience as we did not walk out the meeting and feel like it’s a sales pitch or whether we can fit in one of the programs based on the price point which we experienced with some of other consulting companies. In addition, since Cortney understood our needs, she aligned us with a counselor who our son felt right immediately in the initial meeting.
