Innovative and User-Friendly App.
Coinbits is innovative in how it bridges the gap between fiat and bitcoin. The app is super easy to navigate, and the ability to automate savings with DCA is a big plus.

I can't get my funds on withdraw my funds on Coinbits I have more than R120k funds in there but I can't withdraw them I'm scared they gonna be freezed as time goes I'm so stressed

This person is an account holder with a company called Prime Trust. Prime Trust violated their commitment to their account holders and this person is very understandably upset. However, Coinbits was not involved in this violation in any way, shape, or form. This review should thus not be directed at Coinbits, but at Prime Trust; TrustPilot should remove this review.

CoinBits is a great idea and worked…BUT
CoinBits is a great idea and worked well..Unfortunately--Crime Trust rugged all the users and thus destroyed Coinbits and any other exchanges or programs associated with that 3rd party. Verify don't trust

Hi Paul, Thanks for taking the time. I know you wrote this review a while ago but I wanted to publicly reply and emphasize something you said – which is that Prime Trust, not Coinbits, was responsible for the funds of Prime Trust account holders. As of this writing, Prime Trust account holders are still awaiting reconciliation of their funds. ALWAYS withdraw your bitcoin from exchanges as soon as possible – this is the only way to eliminate counterparty risk. Don't trust us, or Prime Trust, or anyone – with bitcoin, it's not necessary to do so. If you or anyone else needs help learning how to self-custody bitcoin, we are happy to assist.

Used Coinbits for about 1 year
Used Coinbits for about 1 year. Current Bitcoin is in limbo due to Coinbits using Prime Trust as their custodian.

Hi there, We know this is an older review but we did want to take a moment to respond. Prime Trust was a regulated custodian, meaning that it was the safest (on paper) way to hold bitcoin by a 3rd party. And yet it failed... teaching everyone a hard lesson, including us, that bitcoin not in your possession is never out of danger. The failure of Prime Trust, and the lack of oversight that it was supposed to have by authorities, hurt the entire industry. Coinbits has since rebuilt – and as always, we encourage all of our members to minimize the amount of time that their bitcoin spends with a custodian. We offer sophisticated tools to auto-withdraw your bitcoin to a private wallet that only you control – as Satoshi intended.
