My account was frozen and is now "legacy." Fortunately, I didn't have a lot of my savings in the account. In my experience, any amount at all is too much to entrust to Coinbits.

DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM. Coinbits.App is operating as a fraudulent scheme designed to steal deposits, their froze your account and refuse refunds. The Incident: On April 13, 14, and 16, 2026, I deposited a total of $8,000 USD from my linked bank account into Coinbits. The funds were successfully debited from my bank immediately. Shortly after, they permanently deactivated my account. When I demanded my refund, they sent an email claiming: 1. My deposits were "pending settlement" and would take 2–6 weeks. Fact Check: This is impossible. Standard ACH transfers settle in 1–3 business days (max 7). It has been over 11 days since my last deposit. They are lying to delay. 2. They claimed my $5,000 Bitcoin purchase "hadn't triggered," showing only $15 in my wallet. Fact Check: My dashboard clearly showed the $5,000 position. They are rewriting transaction history to hide their theft. Current Status: Despite providing proof of bank debits and demanding a refund timeline multiple times, they have refused to return any funds. They are using "internal policies" as an excuse to hold my capital indefinitely. Action Taken: I have filed formal complaints with Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs where the company is registered and my next step is to report them to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). Warning: If you see this platform, stay away. They accept money, lock accounts, and then claim the money is "unsettled" forever. Do not wait for a refund that will never come. You can check Reddit, too many reviews. I’m wondering how they got the 4 stars on TrustPilot.

This is a well known scam site that has been featured in the media. With all my heart and soul I hope you rot in hell and your lives are misery. You ruined my family and have blood on your hands

I would leave 0 stars if I could. This company stole over $5,000 from me. It has been locked in a "legacy" account for over 3 years, they will not respond to calls/emails, etc. Yet constantly send me adverts to buy more. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM, RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION.

We do not serve the country that this person is from. This is an invalid review that Trustpilot has wrongly refused to remove.

I want my Bitcoin. Your company should cover it
Response from CoinbitsSep 10, 2024
This person is an account holder with a company called Prime Trust. Prime Trust violated their commitment to their account holders and this person is very understandably upset. However, Coinbits was not involved in this violation in any way, shape, or form. This review should thus not be directed at Coinbits, but at Prime Trust; TrustPilot should remove this review.

Used Coinbits for about 1 year. Current Bitcoin is in limbo due to Coinbits using Prime Trust as their custodian.
Response from CoinbitsSep 9, 2024
Hi there, We know this is an older review but we did want to take a moment to respond. Prime Trust was a regulated custodian, meaning that it was the safest (on paper) way to hold bitcoin by a 3rd party. And yet it failed... teaching everyone a hard lesson, including us, that bitcoin not in your possession is never out of danger. The failure of Prime Trust, and the lack of oversight that it was supposed to have by authorities, hurt the entire industry. Coinbits has since rebuilt – and as always, we encourage all of our members to minimize the amount of time that their bitcoin spends with a custodian. We offer sophisticated tools to auto-withdraw your bitcoin to a private wallet that only you control – as Satoshi intended.
