On October 14, 2023, I was debited three times from my bank account for a total amount of €29 each time, resulting in a total deduction of €87 for the month of October. This occurred as I subscribed to your website for the first time. Following my complaints on October 18 and October 25, you refunded me twice, totaling €58. On October 18, I informed you that I no longer had access to my subscription and requested a refund. Finally, on November 7, you notified me that you would refund the last installment of €29. It has been a month since our email exchanges. As of November 14, the third installment of €29 has not been refunded, and I noticed a new debit of €15.28 on the same day. Since October 18, my account has not been activated, and I am unable to enjoy the features of your website. You can deactivate my account. I no longer trust your site. I want to first recover my money (€44,28) ! On December 2nd, the day I posted this review, Cockatoo finally got in touch with me. They asked me to reconsider my review and offered me 2 months of their subscription for free. They requested that I pay for the 2 months of subscription with the promise of a refund. I am eager to see if I will indeed be reimbursed, considering the history of the issue. The moral of the story is that Cockatoo only addresses its users' problems when they share negative reviews on this site. I find it unfortunate that one has to take public action for things to finally move forward! UPDATE 12/02/2024 The company made a commercial gesture. The platform is great.

Cockatoo is a fraud, I uploaded my video and the srt file was two lines in Spanish, then a mixture of Spanglish.

Dear Director, in 03 november 2023 I've written a e-mail To report that on that date I had signed up with you for a monthly subscription. Unfortunately, I missed the button and clicked on the annual rate. Have you taken care to clear this error of mine ? I am waiting for your reply because I need to join the audio transcription with the monthly payment. Thank you

I used to do transcriptions the old way many years ago. It was quite time consuming. Later I used real time transcribing with my recordings, which was helpful. This newer AI tool is way more accurate than transcribing software I used before, did quite well with different accents in Turkish, and did the job quite fast, highly recommended.

I just tried out a sample, and the recording came back almost instantly, letter perfect. I plan to write some articles and will be subscribing to the service. The transcription comes in as text; I pasted it into a word file and can easily edit it. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with Cockatoo!

I used the free trial on an MP4, which was a ZD Soft screen recording of a webinar. Brilliant!! With the presenter's natural speech with pauses and hesitation, I wondered where the transcription would end each sentence... Nailed it nearly 100% of the time, but I think you'd have to add in inverted commas yourself for dialogue, if it was an audio of a novel. And it was very fast in delivery...a few minutes. I'm hugely impressed.

Cockatoo works like magic! 99% accuracy and it switches languages, even though you choose one before you transcribe. I love that they don't make any money on ads. Upload -> Transcribe -> Download and repeat!

i used it to transcribe more than 500 hours of audio and it was amazing and really fast and after they added the feature of adding multiple files upload i think they are perfect ( also the no limit on file length and unlimited uploads are crazy good deals ) sadly they increased there prices but still they are worth it
