The jacket is great if you can get one that fits. I ordered a small and received an extra small marked as a small. Customer service agreed with my assessment and generously sent me a replacement free of charge. Unfortunately they sent me another extra small marked as a small (this is why there are two stars). At that point the customer service attitude went cold. Now they claimed that arm lengths were correct, but torsos were sometimes too small, contradicting the clear evidence I'd presented. I was offered a medium. I pointed out that the problem is that the sizing is now a complete unknown because they were making contradictory claims. So i'm now out a whole lot of money with jackets I can't wear and no options. I don't recommend buying anything from this company if you can't try it on to make sure you're getting the size they claim you're getting. Or at least an item that fits.

To be honest, products from coalatree are great, but the postsales service and shipment is terrible. Bought from kickstarter campaigns and the awful job they do with declaration of value and taxes is terrible, you end up paying +50% of the price of the product. Never more

Great customer service and quality products. I have been a loyal customer since 2017 and have supported them via their website and Kickstarter. I’ve always had a great experience when purchasing products. Shirts and sweatpants that didn’t fit, easy free returns. Highly recommend for their mission, quality products and customer service.

I have bought from these before, when they were fundraising through indiegogo, and the jumper I bought is itself very nice, high quality and comfortable. Perhaps slightly over priced. I wanted to buy one for my wife too and got very disappointed. The low review mark is due to no warning or foresight on the company's behalf to mark their products as gifts when delivering them. This is child's play, everyone knows this is how you get around customs charges for your customers. After paying over $100 for a hoodie I now have to pay £30 for customs charges before Royal Mail will release the item to me. I think this may have happened the 1st time I bought a hoodie from them a few years ago too, but considering it was through indiegogo and the price was cheaper I let it fly. I can't believe this problem has never come up for them before now, unless I am the only UK/EU customer for them.

Found about Coalatree through a kickstarter campaign, and have become a fan ever since. The products are great looking, very high quality, and service has been extremely responsive and friendly when needed.
