MSP360 Managed BackupReviews of cloudberrylab.com

I am currently on the 15-day trial with Cloudberry desktop backup for Windows and have been looking for a crashplan replacement with particular reference to compression, security (ransomware protection and transfer encryption protection built in) and having a choice of where to backup my data - cloud (Wasabi), NAS or USB. Cloudberry offers me more functionality than crashplan and at a very competitive price. I am using this for my small business and personal use to backup files automatically. The GUI is intuitive and user-friendly. The setup was quick and understandable. Pros: Choice of backup destinations. Security (ransomware protection and transfer encryption) Easy to set up and adjustment of configuration. User friendly GUI with great navigation. Competitive pricing and great support. Cons Mobile phone App to view and download your backup files. Emailed backup report to be more detailed.

Super logiciel je le recommand

Been a while since I've used this, but the flexibility of the program was great - including the ability to back up to my own S3 devices. It simply works, and with the number of different providers, there are not many use cases where this won't just work. With changes in the organization, I'm planning on expanding the use to a number of different platforms once again.

Full featured software. Would be useful if they provided backup and restore templates to make it easier for first time setup etc.

Best CrashPlan replacement that I could find (together with BackBlaze B2 as the cloud storage target). Some issues with very large file counts with Hybrid backup, but I worked around by simply making two backups - one to local NAS, one to cloud, so in practice this does not really matter. Upside of doing image based backups too, so you can have both your important files versioned and backed up often and full image of your OS drive for recovering any disaster there.

Great option for multiple backups - using Backblaze (first 10gb free). Switched from Crashplan (closed for home users) and Acronis (didn't work properly). Very flexible.

Great product for cloud to cloud and… Great product for cloud to cloud and local to local (NAS)

Cloudberry backup seems to offer exactly what I'm looking for; utilizing cloud storage without a 3rd party service, remaining in control of my data, advanced options (types of backups, retention policies, a variety of cloud storage options). Only downside it that you need to spend a fair amount of time figuring out how to tune your backup plans to optimize cost to different use cases
