After a close call with identity theft last year which thank god I very narrowly avoided I went down the rabbit hole of privacy tools. Most were either overpriced, confusing or just purely didn’t deliver. Then I tried Cloaked. In the first month they removed my info from over 200 data brokers, cut my spam calls by at least 90% and gave me a way to sign up for stuff without giving away my real phone or email. That alone is worth the price. But what really sets Cloaked apart is the dark web monitoring and breach alerts which to me for obvious reasons is a MUST. I actually found out about a breach involving my info before my credit monitoring service caught it. Plus their team was quick to guide me through next steps. If you're serious about protecting your identity and digital footprint, Cloaked isn’t just another app it’s an essential tool.

I had have been very pleased with the Cloaked app. It has been very effective in removing my personal information from website databases and broker lists and screening out spam calls. However, when I tried to switch my monthly account to an annual account, I ended up with two accounts and the monthly billings continuing. When I reached out via chat to Cloaked for help, the live agent, Raymart, could not find my annual account nor, for that matter, the payment I had made for the annual account. But he did not give up. He spent more than an hour, asking me to provide him with one piece of information, then another, to aid him in his search, trying one thing, then another until he was finally able to resolve the problem. This was not straight forward at all, but that did not deter Raymart from continuing to work with me to resolve the problem. He not only solved the problem, but was a pleasure to work with.

I’ve been bouncing between different tools for the longest time trying to piece together a privacy setup. It was messy, expensive and honestly hard to keep up with. Cloaked changed that and I don't say this lightly (from the fact that I'm actually writing a review haha). It’s not just that they do data removal and phone/email masking and dark web alerts and password management, it’s that they do it all in one app. I don’t have to manage five different logins or dashboards anymore. It's like the ""Apple of privacy"" not a master at one thing, but hands down the best all in one platform I’ve used. Highly recommend if you’re tired of duct taping your privacy tools together. Also bonus point the support team is responsive and genuinely helpful for any questions you may have which matters a lot with a product this important and in this field.

Cloaked offers some great services and support has been amazing!

Narissa was very good in informing me how to handle a possible scam. It worked out well with the company. I did appreciate the information which I have if anything develops in the future. It was a great experience for the help I needed to know even if I didn't need it for now. But it will be a help for me in the future. A very nice response in a timely manner and very informative.

So far so good. I had a bit of difficulty setting up the call forwarding, but Eric was super helpful. He even told me about an option Verizon enables that was causing my issue. Cloaked has already removed my data from over 10 places and is still going! Nice to see less spam!

Eric helped me quickly with two separate issues on the platform, after having an unsuccessful troubleshooting chat with the Chat Bot. He put me in touch with the company’s engineers to fix the problem asap. He also followed up with me directly to be sure everything was good. Very helpful!

What made my experience great was that when it didn't start out that well, Nerissa from Cloaked support patiently walked me through a series of steps to resolve the issue...and when that didn't work either, she researched it, escalated it and solved it by identifying the issue...gently. (It was user error.) She also followed up when I was slow to take action and then checked in again after I finished the on-boarding process for phone protection. Couldn't ask for better hand-holding, patience and responsiveness. She deserves a medal. Or a bonus. Nah...make it both.
