Hi William, Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Cliradex. I understand your concern and want to reassure you that a cooling tingling sensation is normal. Cliradex® is a natural, preservative-free eyelid, lash, and facial cleanser formulated from the main component of tea tree oil, 4-Terpineol (T4O). This tingling sensation is a common occurrence with tea tree oil, but a burning sensation is not. If you feel burning, you might be experiencing something else. For instance, if your skin is already compromised or wounded, it will sting similar to putting alcohol on a wound. The same is possible if you use Cliradex on already irritated or open skin. Another reason may be that you're experiencing a reaction to the T40 from the tea tree oil. Here are a few tips to using Cliradex if you have sensitive skin: 1) Always test a patch of skin on your arm to see how you will react to the T40, mainly if you've never used tea tree oil. 2) Avoid using Cliradex after bathing as pores may be exfoliated and exposed. 3) Wipe your eyelids and eye area gently while keeping your eyes closed. 4) Avoid getting Cliradex in your eyes. 5) Keep your eyes closed for about 15-30 seconds as the area dries. We recommend that during the application you: 1) Close your eyes firmly. 2) Gently wipe the foam or towelette across the lid and surrounding eye area without pressing it too hard on the eye or into the corners of the eye. 3) Allow the foam or solution to air-dry briefly (15-30 seconds) before opening your eyes. While our products are natural, safe, and effective, we realize that some people are allergic to essential oils. If you continue to experience a reaction, please discontinue the use of Cliradex. Hi, thank you for your feedback. I want to reassure you there is nothing wrong with the product. Cliradex normally has a fresh, cooling sensation. If you are experiencing a "burning" sensation this may be because the skin is compromised somehow. A useful analogy would be like putting alcohol on a wound. Here are a few tips if you have sensitive skin: 1- Avoid using Cliradex right after bathing. Skin pores may be exfoliated and are more exposed than usual. 2- Wipe gently with Cliradex. 3- Avoid direct contact with your eyes. Keep eyelids gently closed when using Cliradex. We recommend that during the application: 1 - Closes eyes firmly without squinting too much. 2 - Gently wipe the foam across the lid and surrounding skin. Don't try to press too much on your eyelid skin or into the eye's corner (caruncle). 3 - Allow the product to air dry briefly (30s) before opening eyes. If your results don’t improve, then please do not continue to use Cliradex as you may have a skin allergy to essential oils. As for the price, isolating the 4-terpineol is more costly than just plain tea tree oil. As soon as savings are available, we are passing them on. The Cliradex Team

Sorry to hear that. Don't hesitate to reach out to your physician to notify him/her. Your eye issue may not link to blepharitis or/and demodex.
