Great app that makes keeping my inbox clean easy. Love the ability to setup auto-delete and other actions and not have to think about it.

TOTAL SCAM! They got into my email and I sent hours refiling, making new folder and refiling according to their suggestions. After going through all their steps these scam artists did NOTHING. I sent five customer support messages with no replies. They took my money and DID NOTHING. They are a SCAM. Wish I would have read up on them before signing up. LOL LOOK AT THIS RESPONSE BELOW. THESE clowns reply to people's posts with LIES and BS. You'll notice that they blame the user in various ways for random things - that could have happened. I didn't expect "immediate" results from them and waited weeks for them to do something and then sent 4 or five messages without a response. I got automated responses from them stating that they would get back soon but no assistance. IF they put HALF the energy into actually fixing people's issues that they do in creating disingenuous responses to reviews they may have a functional company not just scamming people of their money.

Dear Amy, we're really sorry to hear about your experience. We're here to assist, not frustrate you. My colleagues and I did reply to your emails, so I'm concerned that our messages may not have reached you. When cleaning a large number of emails, like your 50k, it can take some time for your email server to catch up with the actions performed. That could be why you're not seeing immediate changes in your email client. We're wondering how you access your inbox? Via the web or a dedicated client like Outlook? Also, were you able to review the articles we sent to you? We genuinely want to help you resolve this. Please let us know if you'd like to continue the conversation via a different communication method that's more reliable for you. We value your trust and want to make this right.

Clean email keeps deleting most of my important emails. I never set up that rule. The customer support is not very helpful.
Response from Clean EmailApr 19, 2023
Dear Lalit, We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with Clean Email. Please be assured that we do not delete any emails without user consent. It is possible that the rules you have set up for organizing your emails may have caused some of your important emails to be moved or deleted accidentally. We recommend reviewing the rules you have set up and making sure they are configured correctly. Alternatively, you may have turned on Screener that puts in quarantine all emails from first-time senders until you either allow them or block. Please contact our support team at [email protected] for assistance in resolving this issue. Best regards, Clean Email team

I've used Clean Email for a few months and while the offering was good it fell short on unclear subscription system strange customer service practices.
Response from Clean EmailJan 30, 2023
Hi Andrei, thank you for your feedback. We have just two types of subscription—monthly (you are being charged on a monthly basis) and yearly (once a year). If you have any questions about your account or concerns—please contact our support team at [email protected], we'll be happy to help you.

I worked in IT myself and this app is by far the worst one I have come across in a while. There are definitely ‘bugs’ in the system as emails are being lost due to a bad interface and/or terrible information. Contacting Customer Service was almost pointless as they seem to not understand the severity of the problem. Due to a lack of clarity and insufficient information the customer is lead to believe that certain things are possible without irreversible damage such as losing tons of emails that you will never get back. They are not placed in a specific folder as extra security. They’re gone, for good. As always, a system is just a system that will execute what you have asked it to do. We can’t blame the system. We can only blame the developer for not communicating the impact of certain actions. Such as “Ignored emails” will permanently remove emails that have been read by you, put on the “exclude folders” list and that you have been actively using. You’ve been warned!

No customer support line, no bulk removal, slow processing, no refund, would give it zero stars if I could. Disappointed and misleading advertising
