Shell company pedaling cheap Chinese junk. I cancelled my first order after 3 attempts to get the correct filter. THEN these clowns put my name on an auto order list-now I have to dispute through PayPal, as the customer service # NEVER gets answered and mailbox is always full-probably with complaints!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM CLATTERANS; I personally would pay a premium to avoid them. I ordered six air filters and six water filters and received the wrong filters which they expected me to pay to return. After 4-6 emails, and 2-3 calls and a ton of frustration, resulted in my demanding they provide a return label to send the merch back. Fearing that I would receive a reduced credit as the merch sent was less than what I paid for the correct items, I provided a detailed note and email trail to show what should be credited. I returned the items immediately with the prepaid label and never received my refund. The customer experience here is shameful; This firm clearly has no process for handling errors of any kind. Its offshore (Philippines Im guessing) customer center is beyond useless, and cannot act on anything non-standard or make a decision. Update; I reached out to Clatterans nearly a month after sending back the items, having never received any correspondence to confirm receiving them. I received a response indicating the merchandise was located and a refund would be processed in 1-3 days; fast forward 17 days later and I still have no refund. Update 2: I followed up again and was told I would have a refund in one weeks time; fast forward one week and no refund as indicated. I have given up, and turned it over to my credit card company. RUN FROM THIS VENDOR - DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!

Ordered three filters from this company - not one of them worked. Their reviews on the site seem completely planted - I should have known better than to order from this site. Pay a little more and get the genuine thing - you are literally throwing away money with these folks.

This company is a joke!!! Bad customer service and bad product!! DO NOT order from them. Pay more somewhere else. Not worth the trouble.

Recently bought some filters from these jokers under the assumption that they're selling genuine Berkey filters. Upon installation, the water in the collection tank smelled bad so I filtered and dumped for a few cycles, hoping the odor would disappear. It did not, so I contacted Berkey to report that I had gotten some bad filters from one of their affiliates. They responded by indicating that Clatterans is not a Berkey affiliate and that these were not genuine Bereky filtration elements. Immediately contacted Clatterans to enquire about where their filters are made and so the deception began. They dodged the question several times, suggesting that they have warehouses in New York and Los Angeles but eventually admitted that these are Chinese made elements. No longer confident in the quality of their product and unwilling to put up with the foul odor, I pushed them to accept the item as a return. There response, aside from a less than sincere apology, was that the purchase is final once the filters have been used - irrespective of the issue. In the first place, why would I install Chinese filters in my all U.S. made Berkey purifier? It doesn't make sense to me, but they couldn't seem to understand that. Turns out the filters are just cheap coconut charcoal elements and cannot deliver the performance I have come to expect from my Berkey system over the years. Furthermore, I tried to write a testimonial on the Clatterans website several days ago and was told my review would be posted upon approval. Low and behold, my review was nowhere to be found. In fact, there are no negative reviews for any of the products on their website. None whatsoever! All 4 and 5 star reviews only. How is this even remotely believable? I'll tell you how. It's not and I'm pretty sure a lot of those reviews are phony like baloney! UPDATE: Classic Clatterans response. 'Sorry. What's your order number?' Same reply to every post. Sounds like it was written by a robot. My guess is they're just trying to act like they care, but I think people are smart enough to see through that. Got my genuine Berkey filters not long after, so I'm happy again. Went to remove the Clatterans filters and the charcoal started flaking off in my hand. Not very encouraging. I mean it's just charcoal, but I don't want it floating around in the top tank. Super cheap construction! Let's see if I get a response to my update. Perhaps something along the lines of 'Sorry. What's your order number'?

I ordered 3 water filters and a 6 pack of air filters from Clatterans. This was the first time I have used the company. All were shipped under the same USPS tracking order and accordingly show the same delivery date. The confirmation tracking states that a package, (singular), was put in my mailbox. The water filters arrived on the shipping date and were stuffed in my mailbox. The air filters have never been delivered. The air filters were not in the same package as the water filters. If they had been, the package would not have fit in the mailbox. I contacted Clatterans, or King Overseas YKS, to tell them the air filters had not arrived and was told to ask my neighbors and check in hidden places. I have spent a month trying to obtain a refund. My last correspondence wanted me to prove that I did not receive! Really. I have never been told if the items were sent in one package or two. They have never confirmed with the post office the number of packages. They have been unwilling to resolve the issue or attempt to track how the items were packed and shipped. I would not recommend purchasing any items from this company. They have proven to be unreliable and unprofessional. This is a brilliant way to scam people out of money by asking them to prove they did not receive a package. I think they should be asking their warehouse to prove the item was shipped.

I ordered filters from this company on 4/30. I still have not received them. I called twice and each time was told my order would ship the following day. Still no filters. I have filled a complaint with PayPal seeking a refund and would not recommend this company at all. It seems like a scam. I am going to notify my credit card company and the state attorney generals office if I don't get resolution very soon.

Ordered filters for my mother but it didn’t get delivered. I’ve tried contacting them 10 times by phone and email and they don’t respond. Even when I contact them they say they’ll check on my order, they don’t respond. D Lee
