The Merkur HD 43C Heavyweight Stainless Steel Safety Razor is worth every dollar, no wonder there is a waiting list for the razor. Simply let the weight of the razor do its job. Keep your thumb and index finger under the base of the blade and the handle rest in the palm with the fingers wrapped and your in business. I also ordered the Merkur Double SS Platinum Blades and they are super sharp with a fine edge. Also I use the Proraso Pre Shave Cream (Original with Eucalyptus and Menthol). Combine these products with a fine badger brush and a lavatory of hot shaving water and enjoy. My son in law loved it and ordered his own. The key is: "Don't press the razor to the skin". Lather up and shave twice the opposite direction for a really close shave. Enjoy.

I had to call to modify my order after i placed it and they were very helpful and friendly. Just picked up my new razor and it looks great, can't wait for my next shave!

I never pay for expedited shipping because it always gets the my house quick enough with their normal process. I think the reviews on the products themselves are valuable as well.
