Hi Cara. I am sorry your experience with us was did not warrant a five star review. We try very hard to do the best we can and buy every book that we can buy, as long as it meets our condition guidelines. When we receive a book that has a torn cover we will either not purchase it or we will reduce the payment amount by 30%, depending on the severity of the issue. A book with a torn cover does not qualify as an item in "GOOD CONDITION" - at best it can be sold as acceptable. Hi Tamela. We appreciate your comment but it is a bit misleading to others. You failed to mention the reason your two orders were not paid, was that your orders had been cancelled due to our offer database being comprimised. We requested you not send them to us. Customer orders that were shipped despite the cancellation email notifications were returned at our expense. Also this is the only time in our company history that an incident like this has occurred. As you stated in your comment above "as long as it's not to good to be true." is exactly why your two orders were cancelled.

Hi Linda. We can certainly appreciate what you are saying and we feel the same way but not everything is always black and white. If you made an offer on a car, and then the next day found out that the car was stolen or that your mechanic was drunk and failed to tell you that the car had been in an accident and the engine had been rebuilt...wouldn't you be forced to re-evaluate your offer or even retract it? Or do you stick with your offer even though you were given incorrect information? I am sure you understand that occasionally things happen that are beyond our control. As we stated, over the labor day weekend we had some data in our system that was compromised. This in turn affected the amount of the offers that we made. Roughly $75,000.00 in bad offers were quoted on customer orders. In order to try to get control of the situation we sent out emails to 3000 customers asking they not ship their orders. Time at the point was crucial and I apoogize if the tone of the email came across as rude. We are a small company and a $75k issue like this could have forced us to close our doors and put 21 people on the street looking for work. We have been dealing with these affected orders on a case-by-case basis and so far our customers have been extremely understanding and very supportive.
