For me, it was NOT a positive experience.
There was a bit of disagreement regarding the condition of the novel entitled "S". I opened the seal & read some of it. I lost interest early on & elected not to read any further. I did not, personally, damage or tear any pages. CKY Books did reverse their decision & issued me the initial amount quoted, but, the whole experience left me with a negative opinion.

Hi Diane, I am sorry for the misunderstanding. In order to best serve you and avoid any animosity we chose to simply pay you the initial amount quoted. I have reviewed our records and the book we received did not meet our quality guidelines. This can happen for many reasons; when we receive it in one condition and it was sent in a different condition, then the book was damaged in transit. We have very good packaging guidelines on our website to help prevent damage during transit, however sometimes incidents do happen and we were happy to help you get the amount you expected. I am sorry that this left you with a negative impression of our service.
