CIT Bank can Cancels your account at anytime and you lose ten day or more interests.
I opened two accounts with them two months ago, just now received a letter notifying me, both accounts will be canceled in ten days. I called and ask why, and she said: the agreement said, the bank can close you anytime without reason and the money will mail to you in about ten days. I requested to wire or transfer back to my other account, because the mail takes too long to receive without interest as I have a large deposit there, but she insists mail back a check only. I think, CIT bank intentionally does that, so your money remains with them, and you will lose ten days or more interest. Before the account close, CIT will lock you out from online banking. I never had a bank that cancel my account and make me lose hundreds of interest. At least, CIT bank can wire back my money.
