My experience with CIBT was not good
My experience with CIBT was not good. I paid $500 extra for premium service. My consultant yawned repeatedly in my ear on our first call. I had an urgent need for my visa to China. I had to repeatedly reach out to her to keep things moving. Including correcting her spelling mistakes on my application. In the end, I paid over $1,100 and did not get the visa in time and missed my trip. I called the premium customer service line and waited on hold for nearly two hours. I expressed my concerns about the consultant that was assigned to me and was told that they were going to be reaching out to the manager and someone would get back to me. I never heard from anyone. After all was said and done, I received a survey from this Eric Muething, who CIBT responds in these reviews that you should reach out to if you have a problem, asking about my experience. I detailed the experience I had and received no feedback. I then emailed Mr. Muething directly and again have not heard back from him. So, beware of believing any claims of personalized and step by step help during the process will actually happen or be worth the extra $500. Trust me, it's not.
