This was a mandatory trip to just make money out iof the 4 tours the tour privided to sell their junkes. It was not about exploring China. Was all about selling their cheap stuff for astronomical prices before letting travelers to see anything to have a point of reference. bought scarf in their silk factiry for $120 and found the exact scarf for $3......paid close to $800 for green tea and again exact amount of loose open spring tea leaves could be bought fir $30....Their lunches were awful and unacceptable. The tour guides had no knowledge and were constantly giving wrong informatiin..... and distracting travelers with irrelevant information when were asjed questiibs. got sick ib the tour and the guide not only helped to find me a pharmacy but gave wring durectiin after deagged me clise to 10 hours in roads and selling jnjs in their stupid factirues....really horrible experuence and am cinvincing a big group of our friends to not take this tour

The tour guide is very mean and insulting us. The first shopping stop for foam mattress. Most of us have already had in Home. So no one want to buy it. He gave us lectures saying that China government gave us a lot in this tour. We need to buy at least 100 dollars per day per person. Even told one of the lady do not get on the car if you do not go into the shop. The lady is sick. Your tour do not take credit card we need to use up all our cash to join the four sites to visit. Each one cost 100 dollars 2 of us 800 dollars. Who will bring that much cash in this tour. Anyway we will never join this tour again . We have been join so many tour to China before. This is the worse one.

I didn’t expect to feel cheated on a trip to China that included flights from the west coast for $600, but my family did. The trip was totally organized around shopping and censorship. We didn’t actually see China in 11 days only government sponsored shops hawking junk. The whole trip was so disappointing that I won’t even detail how bad it was because it will ruin my mood to think about it 3 months after the fact!

Would never travel with this company again. They skipped Tiananmen Square. They changed are hotel at the last minute to a hotel of lower quality. they canceled the Peking duck dinner and left out the acrobatic show in Shanghai and the boat ride in Shanghai was omitted we spend more time going to presentations so we can purchase items and being on a bus then we did doing anything else, and when I called to complain to the company and ask for some type of compensation because what I paid for is not what I received. All I got in response was a stuff panda bear sent in the mail with an apology and nothing else. This is absolutely the worst tour company you can book your China experience with.

The on land tour was good. Our air travel was horrendous! We live south of LAX 2hours. We left home at 2AM for a 6:55AM flight to San Jose, where we sat for 7 hours 20 mins before boarding the 12 hour flight to Beijing. Arrived in Beijing to a bus full of others on our tour who waited 1hour 45mins for us to arrive. All of them flew directly to Beijing from LAX! Then when the group flew to Shanghai, we were on a different plane and again the group had to wait for us. We booked 2 post trips, the second taking us to Hong Kong. We had 3 flights to get get home. We should have had a direct flight to LAX. We were booked back to Shanghai, then to Seattle then LAX. We arrived in Shanghai with no Visa, because they took it away from us in Xian when we left for Hong Kong. Had to stand in a very long line to get a 24 hour visa. We made it to the gate 2 mins before boarding for the long overseas flight. It was not told to us that they would take the visas away. Also not told Hongkong has different currency, so had no local money. The hotel in Hongkong was not in Hongkong but in a bad ugly area 30 min cab drive away in Kallown. Every flight involved terminal changes. My husband and I are in our 70’s and are now I’ll.

I didn't like the Foods at lunch stopped at Bus stops for use the bathroom I didn't like the Hotels just too far away from the City Center I didn't like the Tour guy in Shanghai he seems to more interested in sales Us the Optional tours then Help the Travellers interested in what we likes To do or explaining what is going on in the local towns I didn't like the Hotels prices for their Restaurant foods We were just too much in the Rush all the ways through out the Tours For all areas. This Tour just not fit for many of those travellers in our group as we talks nobody is Happy.

After we paid, they charged $90 mandatory tip that went to the California sales company and from others that did go on the trip was told none of the $90 tip went to the tour drivers, restaurant staff, or hotel staff. The sales company knew I was not going to be able to go and still charged the $90 mandatory tip, would not offer any partial refund for trip cost, nor allow rebooking another date.

The tour guide was not good. He forced me to pay for the recommend products. He said I would have trouble if I did not buy his recommend products.
