The only reason they are getting two stars is because customer service made it right, and I do have a dress and tunic from them that were a gift a few years ago and I like those items. I just bought $200 worth of shirts for work and I had to return everything. Come to find out it’s only for a store refund. Great (eyeroll). Customer service said they would refund one time to my card but I found a few other tops that could have worked and swapped for those instead... I should have taken them up on the first return offer. The second round of clothes looked even cheaper than first and in both orders I had a sale item, so I’m out $60 regardless. Mind you - “sale” to them is still a $30 t-shirt! Biggest thoughts to leave you with: 1. They don’t post negative reviews which screams scam. 2. Their customer service is prompt, but don’t expect any individualized communication (re: scripted answers). 3. Their clothes are cheaply made and look cheap - I’ve literally found better and high quality items for plus size at Marshall’s and TJ Max. 4. They only really have one style they cater to - empire wastes and flowy tops. If you’re apple shaped, this just doesn’t work. 5. They only have one model who wears everything and she’s not even really plus sized. I bought a top because they finally had a plus size model in it (3xish) and the shirt was laughable when it arrived. I wish I had known that they falsify their reviews and the return policy before purchase. I don’t really ever leave reviews but I also emailed these comments to their customer service…not that anything will change. Please don’t waste your money - very disappointed in this business.

Please read the return policy before making a purchase. I wish I had. They force you to get gift codes for future purchases. They will not refund your money.

I just made my first purchase, cute clothes, but very pricey but I ordered anyway as I am heading back to work. I based the size I ordered on what size the model is and what size she is wearing. Everything I just received is too big. Now I have to send it all back and wait for a gift card to reorder. Looking at the website, many of the items I wanted in the smaller size are not available. So they send me a gift card, until I can find something I like and hope they have it in the right size, but only for a year and then they keep it all. They need to have at least an exchange policy. I am so frustrated, I will reluctantly use my gift card and then I will NEVER order from Chic Soul again.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever encountered shopping online.The clothes is really cute and the fact that they cater to plus size is great because it’s hard to find cute clothes. I just don’t feel the price of the garments is justified. The quality of the clothes is hit or miss. I have a sweater that was fifty five dollars and it’s held up good. I also purchased a cute sleeveless top and one wash the threading came undone and it’s not wearable.all i was trying to do is get my money back i went on the facebook and i found this company HELPLINE number which is nine one nine nine three nine two five fopur four on the same day i have contacted the cutsomer service team and they help me out return and refund my issue was resolved ALL CLOTHES MADE IN CHINA!!!

Won't order again. Color of dress did not look like what photo on website looks like. Sizing very inconsistent. Can only return items for a gift card and you have to pay for return shipping. If items were cheaper, I wouldn't care but they are a bit pricey.

I have been buying clothes from Chic Soul for a LONG time until recently. I purchased a shirt for $35 and then two days later I saw an add for the same shirt on another resale site for $19.99 Since this happened I have been trying to find their clothes on other vender sites and almost always they are $15-$20 cheaper. Yes, they cater to plus size. If you want to even call it catering. More like ripping off women who have a hard enough time finding clothes. They sell several brands and in the past I had tried to call to ask for the brand because partical brands fit me well and some were totally off - but who would have guessed..they don't give out brand info, and now I know why - they are upcharging so dang much that they don't want people to figure it out. They are USA based but buy clothes from venders all over. Not to mention their clothes are horrible quality. I've got a few nice things from them, but almost everything else shrinks after one wash, pills super quicky, or is totally messed up with seams - and most of the time washing instructions aren't given. Won't be supporting this small business anymore.

Clothes are adorable for plus size, very unique. Fairly pricey but honestly poorly made!!! Every item I have purchased is falling apart, holes, seams coming undone. You would think they were made in a sweatshop. So disappointing. I so wish they were made better because they are so cute and different, but not worth what you pay to have them fall apart!

I Purchased two maxi dresses and a top from Chic Soul this summer, they looked so nice on the website! The amount of the items were way above average, but I used AfterPay payment was not a problem. The problem was even though they were in my size, none of the items fit properly. I have not worn a single piece I received from them yet. When I called to exchange or return, I was told I needed to pay to send the items back. I refuse to do that. So I took the loss and donated the clothing. Even now, the items shown on the site are really nice, but never again will I order from them.
