Can't cancel subscription online. Long phone wait time to cancel over the phone. Customer service rep doesn't speak English well enough to process cancellation. Treat you like a prisoner and keep offering discounted deal for you to stay multiple times. Refused to send email confirming cancellation. They made cancellation process painful and time consuming on purpose. I hate them.

The experience wasn't necessarily bad, but it wasn't as smooth as I had hoped. A little more attention to communication, timing, and organization would have made a noticeable difference.

I signed up for the paper 2 1/2 weeks ago. I still have not receive a paper. I have called multiple times and they assurred me I would have it the next day. Dont think customer service is in the area. On top that I get popups on my computer constantanly and emails i do not want. They were able to charge me immediately and take my money. So, they figured that part out.

The Chicago Tribune offered a small subscription fee for a 1 year subscription to the e-edition of their newspaper after which they would auto-renew at a monthly cost of $20 per month. I must have taken advantage of that offer and then forgot it existed. I never used it and then without notification just started getting billed. I didn't catch it until the 3rd month. This entire campaign is a desperate money grab by this dishonest news organization. They know exactly who logs in to read their news and they are counting on regular people to forget about subscriptions. I am concerned there are many others being taken advantage of.

Canceled my mom's paper several times & the Chicago tribune continued to bill her. After about a year I just canceled my mom’s credit card, it was the only way to stop these charges. Then they send us to collections. These are predatory practices against seniors.

You cannot get this paper delivered effectively however the paper does have some good ads and keeps up with what businesses are current and that's kind of nice it's nowhere near what it used to be but if you buy it from a Newsstand it's not so bad it's it's still a relatively decent newspaper. It's no longer my favorite newspaper though

I have tried for six weeks to have the Chicago Tribune newspaper include their shopping ads with their delivered, Wednesday paper. My request to have this corrected has fallen each week on deaf ears. I have also had supervisors guarantee to me redelivery of a COMPLETE paper. They both have had to "eat crow" when the problem has not at all ever been corrected. I cannot believe that the Trib has allowed this to continue with NO effort to correct it by now!
