CheckrReviews of checkr.com

Checkr is the worst company to ever hire for background checks. There wrong half the time. They include things they shouldn't like cases thrown out. They will ruin your reputation by using the wrong persons background. Some last name's dont match. It is absolutely ridiculous how long they take to not even look over the information.

What a messy situation Checkr seems to cause. Find a better way PLEASE! I got a new license due to moving. This should be an EASY update with how mobile people are these days! Nooooo.... I has been crazy and is preventing me from continuing my work. How long... it took my daughter 45 days to get her stuff cleared up when all she did was try to change her address. Come on people this is gone to far using computer systems to do everything and when it doesn't work, you never know. You need some human intervention on some levels!!! Like customer service when things do not work like they should!!! Update, it has been more than 12 hours since Checkr responded to my review. I have not heard a word and I still have a flag on my background report. This is crazy. Its been over a week of no real response with a real resolution to what should be a common update, not something that should shake up the whole world!

I got email from checker when open link that show thanks complete your verification no documents updated What is this. It’s really waste of my time.

I've been waiting over 3 weeks for my explanations on my background check to be reviewed and sent back to Tasker. 20 years ago I had a felony, but I've been an electrician for 17 years and currently looking for more work to support my family and it is literally taking forever for them to get back to Tasker. This is ridiculous people. I'm not a threat to anybody I'm just trying to provide for my family before I lose everything

Horrible, I'm a law-abiding citizen, never been arrested in North Carolina, never lived in North Carolina, never incarcerated in North Carolina, never appeared in court in North Carolina. These are all the things that were listed on my background check. I have only lived in Georgia for the past 50 years, I'm a nurse with a clean background. I provided my a copy of my driver's license, SSN and address. Background check should complete and thoroughly done because there is zero margin for error as people are depending on accuracy when applying for jobs. Arrest are public information, I found the person records that was crossed with mine, her name, mug shot, date of arrest, court date and all of her information is the EXACT same information that is listed on my background check. This is not acceptable! I only discovered the error when I applied to DoorDash in my spare time.

I paid $100 dollars for what I thought was going to be a complete run on my criminal background. The site advertises for that price on running a check through nationwide federal, state, and county for crimes that were committed and convicted. This site was extremely inaccurate telling me information on my background was clear in many places it is not. They only provided me with recent convictions. I have turned my life around and need to submit dispositions of all crimes I was convicted of to the state of Vermont substance abuse ice sing board to become a therapist, so I wanted to have a complete check done to make sure there was not anything I was missing. I paid this money for nothing, 3/4 states were not accurate and I requested a refund and was told I couldn’t receive one

I have had multiple reports issued or pooled by checker for various gig work jobs as well as regular employment in the past. Never before. Has there been a conviction come up? That is from 2012 but suddenly it has been on my profile at this point. Yet it is more than 10 years old misdemeanor conviction for reckless driving which is also illegal to be reported as per California law. That is it's never been reported suddenly in 2026 it was reported. Why is that inconsistency? And furthermore why are they breaking the law away reporting it because it has cost me jobs this reports

Worse than any service of it's kind I ever used. Terrible customer service. Slow to respond and VERY incomplete reports. I got far better results for myself and clients, for far LESS money. They overcharge. They provide little in the way of details and no financial or real estate background. They extensively use ai and bots to communicate and conversations are very circular. Save your money. This company deserves to be out of business. If you want REAL files to be able to use you won't get them here. My customer service "rep" was named "Dom", and he would ask questions then fail completely to follow through on further research based on my answers. Then suddenly he was back to square one, as if he had solved anything. He solved nothing. And there are no refunds if you are dissatisfied. Do NOT use this service.
