CheckrReviews of checkr.com

Checkr is fast but NOT accurate. They show ALL charges regardless of guilty or not guilty verdicts going back to your birthdate. It is completely AI and has no reasoning ability to depict verdicts, only initial charges. Totally unreliable, for the companies doing the background check AND for the person getting checked.

Shady company that farms you for data. I emailed customer service with a simple question. After pushing past their AI generated email, I was told they would not answer my question without me giving them my full name, phone number, date of birth, driver's license number, *and the last 4 digits of my SSN*. *Edit because they clearly still don't understand. I am not running or receiving a background check. I don't even have an account with them. I was asking a question to customer service.

My experience with Checkr has been extremely frustrating. Everything started in May 2026, and now we are at the end of July 2026, yet my background check is still not complete. I am a military veteran, and I honestly don’t understand why this process is taking so long. I have previously held a military security clearance, so it’s difficult to understand what could possibly require months to verify. This unnecessary delay has been stressful and has negatively affected my employment opportunities. I simply want my background check to be completed in a timely and fair manner. I hope Checkr can resolve this issue as soon as possible. I would not recommend this experience based on the excessive delays and lack of resolution. I hope Checkr improves its process for future applicants.

Muy buena la atension me encantó

You are not entitled to go back 100 years on somebody you went by 20 years plus that’s unfair. people with fourth-degree felonies should not be counted. Over 10 years was too much. To cause people not to receive a job or a minor in fractions that they don’t even go to prison for.

Don't expect to work anytime soon... I had originally thought this was a good place, but all these people have to do is click some buttons & all our info is there! I went from Eta in 1-2 days to 11 days! All of my records go back past 8 years & no felonies/incarcerations! Extremely sad & disappointed that Chekr is going to make me lose this opportunity to make money! I don't understand why a company in CA is holding up my livelihood in Ohio.🤬

They advertise 3 to 5 business days but I know several people that it's taking over a month to do thier back round check so we are all waiting to get to work but checkr is not doing what they said

Dear Checkr, F U why is it that what most companies put out now is nothing but garbage it seems to be no one anywhere has pride in what they produce. Oh and God forbid you make a mistake in your past your canceled everywhere. It’s all about the paycheck and who cares about the product or the customer. Eventually the customer won’t participate in anything anywhere because you can’t trust anyone or anything out there. Now for that so call piece of garbage of a “company” called Checkr I drive part time for extra money just trying to survive like 70% of ppl in the world I’m blind sided by them doing a background check on me but okay I don’t have anything bad in my background at all former Marine Corps Iraq war veteran struggling like everyone else so I’m like ok cool. Now why did this company say I didn’t have insurance for my car but every other company I drive for says I’m good to Go! Seem like someone isn’t doing their job. Okay so I look and see I can dispute it it’s a whole cluster F of more garbage with Ai bots and no real answers on how to submit your information to clear up the problem. I submitted all the information they needed so they can clear up the problems and resolve the issue. I kept getting redirected to the candidate portal where nothing can be resolved just submit you statement here and… nothing. I’m starting to believe that if you don’t fit what a company wants they will figure out ways to give you the run around so you give up. More people should be upset about what going out there. Good luck to everyone struggling with this company and to those giving great reviews for whatever your reasons shame on you have some morals and standards. This has been a message from Matthias Logan and I’m formally announcing my run for President of the United States of America let’s fix our problems and run bad business off like this Thank you.
