Attempted to speak with a sales rep today. I almost had a nervous breakdown dealing with their website, chatbots, human chat support, and sms texts. You cannot just speak to someone. You must log in, set up a password, provide credit card info, wait 15 mins to text with someone that is clueless. I am now receiving emails and texts every 3 mins. I have yet to speak to a human being. I have wasted (90) mins of my life on this today. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I would rather hire criminals than deal with Checkr.

It's been 17 days and the background check still hasn't came back for Doordash, no one to talk to or help you out. The date of completion just keeps changing, I submitted it July 1st and it has changed 3 times already

There are no live representatives to assist. Your BG checks can be delayed if you have any hiccups in processing. Ensure to notify your bank that Checkr will be conducting micro withdrawals as they may come up as fraud alert. Checkr will deauthorize your account and the process will take much longer for company reverification. We are currently trying to onboard an employee and still have not been authorized as of 07/09.

If there was a zero I'd choose that. These guys give an incomplete background check and then refuse to give a refund. I should have looked here first. Terrible company. Stay away.

I requested a background through Uber and Lift a month ago and I keep getting delays. There is no one to talk to solve the issue. It takes a day to run a background check. This is not a business but a scam. Uber needs to break its relationship with checkr because they can't provide the demand of the service.

Horrible service and customer service They left in middle of chat conversation I don’t recommend it at all

We are a current customer and displeased that a human being can't offer the courtesy of a call. I realize that company's change their business model but when you lose the people contact, then you LOSE. We are searching for a different service

Checkr provided incorrect information to doordash and as a result had my account suspended. They indicated that my license was suspended, however while that was the case, the issue was resolved. My license was reissued in February 2025, however Checkr used information from October/November 2024. Their outright incompetence has impacted my capacity to earn. However the manager at Doordash understood the incompetence demonstrated by Checkr and began the process to reinstate my account.
