After booking the transaction said "pending" for 15 minutes. My screen displayed a booking #, but no message confirming purchase. After calling the 800# to report the issue, the agent politely told me the transaction is still pending because the fair had an increase after I hit purchase. This is where it becomes a scam. You reluctantly pay the higher "base rate" for the ticket just to get the transaction done, but you also end up paying an additional undisclosed $60 "Flight Reservation Fee" for speaking with the customer service person. Additionally, I hung up on the call to customer service because it was taking a while for them to pick up and their agent called me back. Not many companies call you without you leaving your contact information or requesting a return call. That detail of an unprompted return call makes me feel like the "glitch" is planned.

Cheapskydeals used a "bait-n-switch" tactic. But I purchased nonrefundable tickets. They said my departing flight was full. I could not switch times, so I had to.pay$85 more. I paid including taxes and fees, etc. Then I received a separate invoice for taxes which stated due date 8/18/26. The rep called me at 10:30 pm I stating that I had to.pay for that invoice. I paid it in the original tickets. After I gave him my opinion , I paid because I needed that flight. I paid $130 more than I would have had i booked a direct flight. Beware of tjis company. Air robbery.

Scammy run business. You may get you booked at selected amount or probably will be forced to talk to an agent that will work with you on a different booking and lie that you wont find a cheaper option.

Found a low price for 2 round trip airline tickets, booked it, added bags, and paid an "extra" $100. (There is no place on the site to upgrade from basic to plus which includes carry on, etc.) Got a call from cheapskydeal saying that I would have to pay for bags at the airport, so they were removing the bag fee I paid. And then the same flight went UP over $80 per ticket because "the website doesn't automatically update with current price changes.. oh and will you have carry on bags with you?" By the time they "upgraded" to allow carry-on, my total was almost $300 more than the website price. AND I will still have to pay more for checked bag, which is NOT actually included in the "upgraded" service they switched me to. I will not be using this service again, they are DEFINITELY not cheaper. Kayak, Booking.com or Expedia won't jerk you around. (Kayak listed the exact same itinerary for around $90 less, which was originally a higher price.) Wish I had read reviews before booking.
