I bought a time sensitive item and upgraded my shipping to Second Day Air for $29.50. It has now been seven days and still I have yet to receive my order. To make matters worse the company refused to refund what I paid for shipping.

I own a firearm business and had an account set up to buy from them with with a valid Sales Tax Form so I pay no taxes. I purchase from several different dealers and vendors and have never ran into the problem that I did with Cheaper Than Dirt. I use different cards to pay for things, some have my business PO Box address and some have my business physical address. They said since a card has a PO Box and doesnt match the address on the Sales Tax Form they couldnt remove the taxes. I have used the SAME CARD with several other vendors for different purchases and paid no taxes. So I requested my account be closed. So it was done and, no questions ask. They acted like it was no big deal. I guess they have plenty of business and money. That's a poor way to look at business opportunity if you ask me!! I will never refer them or do business with them again!!

CheaperThanDirt is boycotted by the majority of gun owners. This is because they increased their prices of gun accessories and ammunition by 10x to 20x during the 2013-2016 gun & ammo panic/shortage gouging all those who supported the 2nd ammendment. While other vendors raised the prices by 20%, CheaperThanDirt raised them 500 to 1,000%. For ex. they were selling 1 box of 100 rounds of 22LR (CCI Mini Mag) for $98! I have not done business with CTD since 2012 and never will.

Horrible online customer service! Way too high of prices. That’s why your an online company cheaper than dirt, should be called bunch of dirtballs. So u don’t have much overhead from running a store, u stock cheaper than dirt ware houses knocks the cost way way down in return u can charge cheaper competitive prices. Not way more expensive prices. There isn’t one product they sell I can’t find cheaper with a 3 minuet online search. Kara Dearman, customer service liberal left wing extremist, ur in the wrong business. U should be in Texas protesting the wall going up. Trying to open our boarders I don’t know what the hell u think you’re doing as a gun sales rep. Because u know nothing About these products & she discriminates against people of color for buying firearms. Sends them emails everyday advertising rifles & pistols for sale. Sells people ammo & gun parts that make guns more deadly but then denies that person the firearm they just bought because she has her job title mixed up. That’s not your job, it’s to send tracking information that’s it. Not profile people. That’s the job of my local gun dealer I paid 10 extra $’s to check my backround. But it’s ok to sell me ammo & gun parts that better my kill ratio, & send daily emails of gun deals. But not to sell me a gun. Then holds my funds for numerous days so I can’t even purchase this rifle elsewhere. Don’t buy from a gun company that only treats u well when you’re purchasing something, or only when you’re actually approved for purchasing something. This also means this company is looking into each & every customers backrounds, completely disregarding you’re privacy. Looking up your record & judging u & who knows how many people have access to this. They obviously don’t even care if it’s the right person or not. They are completely invading all their customers privacy. This isn’t their job to look up information we as customers give them, in trusting them with our personal information & they take advantage by checking up on us?? That’s not right, our local gun shops don’t even do that. They just call in a name to check if it gets passed or not. Who does this company think they are. You see, you have to stop buying from them. Too much money is giving them too much power to do as they please. Too much political pull & they pretty much have free rein to invade our lives. & who knows who else hacks into their system to steal information on us, the clients we didn’t even know they had access too in the first place. Never will I buy from this company again & if you’re smart u won’t either. Cut the head off the snake & we no longer have a snake....Just a sneaky slimy spineless worthless worm, who can no longer hurt their customers reputations or invade their privacy. This company lies to its customers about items that haven’t shipped just to earn a buck. Then claim no returns. I’ve seen too many other bad reviews on this subject. They cannot be trusted with small things then they most certainly cannot be trusted with big things like our bank information!

Cheaper than dirt company , after doing business with them you can understand where the name comes from . It also reminds you that in most all cases you really get what you pay for...........I ordered some 9mm and 40 cal ammo , along with 2 extra magizines for a kel-tec 380. I received the order in a timely manner. One of the two magazines fell apart when it was removed from package. I was going to use the ammo ordered for a mandated firearms class which is held on a indoor range at Daytona Beach. Fl. When I showed up they had signs posted banning any and all steel cartridges made in Russia because it was unsafe and was made poorly. I checked around to all ranges in this area indoor and outdoor and none of them allow the ammunition. I requested a return of merchandise and was told that, no returns on ammo , not for refund or exchange . If they were a reputable company they would at least give you a store credit upon receipt of returned merchandise. I know I am only one person and it doesn't mean crap to them. But everyone should look at reviews before ordering anything from Cheaper Than Dirt.

I requested a return Monday morning after making a purchase Sunday night. They responded 10 hours later saying it was already shipped and no return was possible. I got an update the following day from ups, I have an account with them, they informed me that a label had been created in my name. So over 24 hours after they told me it had already shipped they printed the label to ship it. So they just lied to me. Shame on you cheaper than dirt!

Nothing more than a bunch of opportunists.

I emailed these people three times within a three week period, trying to resolve an order. You would think an acknowledgement of the email would have been hasty. No. It wasn't. It's been almost 30 days now, and still NO reply from them. Afterall, I do have a 90 day, original packing, not opened policy, right? NEVER ordering from here again EVER. They are NOT cheaper than anyone else. Shop around or buy local. Save yourself some cash!
