I purchased a new gun from them and when I opened it up, the cylinder would not open. I emailed the customer service the next day and the blew me off and told me to contact the gun manufacturer. I spent my money with them, not the manufacturer and they would not refund my money for a brand new product. Worst customer service would recommend you not purchase anything from this vendor.

14/11/19. I made a prepayment for the goods on the Cheaper Than Dirt website with my mastercard, the amount $ 25.02 (ORDER CONFIRMATION NUMBER: 19333104); 17/11/19. I made another prepayment on the same site for another product, the amount $ 15.90 (NUMBER: 19339080). I leave abroad of USA, as address for delivery, I specified operation address of Delivery company. But not one of the orders came to my address. 12/15/19. I wrote claim to Cheaper Than Dirt, where are my orders. And received an answer from Cheaper Than Dirt: «Dear Maxim Ignatchenko, Thank you for your email inquiry about the two orders placed. Both orders were canceled and our credit card was returned by our customer service department because they were unable to verify the billing address provided on the order. Please let us know if you need further assistance. Tonya P» Instead of just returning the money to the credit card with which I paid for the orders, the Customer Service of Cheaper Than Dirt requires me to indicate to them the address in the USA to which they will send the check. I believe that Cheaper Than Dirt specifically complicate the procedure so as not to return my money to me at all.

I ordered a simple gun cleaning mat and it has almost been 2 weeks 2nd day air is not even worth what you pay in shipping. Learned my lesson will not being doing anymore business with Cheaper than dirt.

Used to stop by their store in Ft Worth when u was in town on military business. Then they started raising their prices on ammo during the shortage in 12 or 13. I did my research and found out the ammo manufacturers were not increasing their price to retailers, they just couldn’t keep up with the demand. Instead of standing with the shooting community and continuing to sell their ammo at the same margin, CTD chose to take advantage of the community and run the price of their ammo up to double the going rate. Fortunately I was still able to find ammo at other stores where the owners had chosen not to financially rape their customers and community. I was surprised to see they're still in business. I’ll continue to take my business to shooting sports retailers that respect their customers and don’t take advantage of them like CTD does.

******Edited to add: Cheaper than dirt shorted us $280 on the refund, saying it was because we gave them a negative review on here. So we had to file a claim with our bank for the difference of what they owed us after canceling our order, all on their own without even asking us!**** My wife and I placed an order online for some guns and ammo for Xmas. We recently moved and have an out of state drivers license. My wife who placed the order (only used my debit card to pay) has her drivers license updated already for our current state of Arizona. Sarah Parker, the customer service agent who emailed me, was so rude and condescending I refuse to ever give cheaper than dirt my business. She emailed asking for an updated drivers license. I explained the situation that these guns (one of which is a purple child’s rifle) were for Christmas and that my wife was the one with the updated DL. She snapped back that not only was she cancelling the order, but she would blacklist my wife from making any further purchases so she could not just reorder the items with her drivers license info instead. My wife only used my name since she was paying with my credit card. Maybe if Sarah Parker had a husband of her own who gave her a credit card to use for Xmas shopping, she wouldn’t be so nasty? She was so nasty to deal with in fact, that I will NEVER EVER EVER order from there. There was no reason to be that way over a simple issue that should have been easy to resolve. The good news is that I shopped around with my wife and we found another website offering the same guns with more options for less money. Cheaper than dirt? That just describes the women handling their orders.

This company is the worst to deal with and has the very worst customer support. It is absolutely ridiculous!! Run!!! I have been trying to order a gun and the customer service is so bad I can't even order it.

If I could give them no stars I would. I recently bought the savage msr10 competition rifel 2 months ago. When I received it I looked at it real quick and then put it away for a couple of days. It was a busy week at work with lots of O.T. and I wanted to go threw the whole rifel on the weekend. When I pulled it out of the box.I started to take it apart and noticed the bolt groupe was very tarnished. Like it had been used so I took it to a buddy of mine to look at it,who builds ar's and he said that the bolt carrier was used and used alot. It was so damaged and used that the metal was showing threw the coating. I was in shock cuz when i bought the rifel it was advertised as new. I called cheaper than dirt and they told me that, its the way the manufacturer sent it to them and that I would have to send it back to savage to get it looked at. Savage agreed that there was some issues with the bolt carrier and replaced the damaged parts. I wish I could of taken legal action against cheaper than dirt for false advertisements and may still do so. The kicker is that when I looked at my online order from at cheaper than dirt there is no more condition reference of the rifel anymore meaning (new in the box)they said that they were redoing there web page. 2500.00 for a new rifel is not what I received...Bottom line and lesson learned never buy from these guys!!!
