Cheaper Than DirtReviews of cheaperthandirt.com

Well I ordered 400 rounds of 40 caliber ammo at a fair price it came in a couple days . I was feeling pretty good about ordering some more ammo so I did .I ordered 200 rounds of 7.62×39 ammo also at a decent price. Well within a few days I recieved a email says that the ammo is on back order and has been canceled .Note this is about a day after the president notify the country about the coronavirus... Now I started looking on the site the ammo is still for sale but for almost 4× the cost so isn't that price gouging? There is more I had also ordered 1000 rounds of 22 LR ammo with shipping it cost $128.38 Ok I have since received only half of the order after they charged me twice ... I don't know what the deal is with Cheaper than Dirt but I will not order another bullet from CHEAPER THAN DIRT and I will tell everyone I know about the price gouging and uncompleted order...

terrible they take your money and dont ship

Looks like I'm in the same boat as the other reviewers, I ordered 3 items, and only received 1 item. Called and wrote an email, no response. $100 down the drain. They are online thieves, BBB needs to shut them down for good, or they need to educated on customer service.

I ordered the wrong item on accident the way they word it online is super tricky so I tried canceling the order I was on hold for over 4 hours and nobody picked up I emailed them asking to cancel the order never got a reply back So I went to the bank in disputed the charge if you have this issue dispute the charge to looks really on their end

How pathetic what a terribly run business!!!!! I ordered over three weeks ago. I received one item out of the five items I ordered. NOT ONE REPLY to any of the emails I sent to customer service. If you cant adequately run a business, don't have one!!!!!!!! I will NEVER order again and I advise you to never order from this joke of a place!

This company is the worst! Everytime there is a "situation" where people panic buy guns and/or ammo, this place will raise their prices. Not gun community friendly at all. Just taking advantage of the situation, and the very people that keep them in business. I will never buy from them ever again, and if you are pro 2A and love and respect guns, you shouldn't either. Wish I could give them no stars. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

First these folks are most expensive, you can get better prices at your local sporting goods store. I did business with them while visiting family, with the understanding delivery in under 14 days and before I returned home. Two days after purchase they changed delivery dates and would not return calls or emails. These folks are dishonest about shipping delivery dates, I sent inquiry email every day for 8 days in a row and they did not have the decency to reply to a single email. I returned to rural Alaska and still no delivery of my $305 purchase. Good news is I found exact same item at local sporting goods Store for $210. My next visit 6 months from now may have the over priced item from Cheaper the Dirt.

Our first order they said would be shipped within 3-4 days. When we didn't receive a shipping notice we called and they told us it would go out the next day, then we received an email saying it would be 3 weeks. We still haven't received a shipping notice. WE WON'T ORDER AGAIN.
