We opened the door to the condo to find it overflowing with grocery carts full of trash and flies everywhere. Welcome to vacation! We called Dunes properties and they said they would hopefully find a cleaning crew to come out. We waited for 3 hours for a cleaning crew of 2 people to arrive and they were in the condo for 1 hour. Needless to say the place was still dirty. Bathroom rugs were unwashed and visibly dirty. Pretty gross. My brother found a dirty diaper under his bed. Fun times. To compensate us the company gave my party of 8 a $200 gift card to a local restaurant. Not good enough. We would definitely not recommend this company and these condos. I LOVE Charleston and was really disappointed that I chose to stay at Dunes Properties.

We wish all guests to have a relaxing a fun experience on the Charleston Coast. When this does not happen, we are disappointed. In this case, the condition of the condo was unacceptable. There are no excuses for the state in which you found the condo, however, this was shortly after an unprecedented amount of snow hit the Charleston Coast. We were running on a skeleton crew with limited resources, including access to housekeeping or the linen service. In lieu of the gift certificate, we offered a different condo in the same building at the same luxury level as the one rented. This switch was declined and the gift certificate was provided, both of which are against the vacation rental agreement. We recognized that this situation was not right and acted promptly to remedy the situation. We can assure you this will not happen on your return visit to the Charleston Coast.

The ease of check in and information provided beforehand was excellent. Property photos represented the home and surrounding area perfectly. Home was clean and perfectly located with a private boardwalk to the beach. We would return again!

The house was horrible no ac for the weekend. They sent 3 different ac people to fix but the best they could do was 87 degrees in the house. Outside was unusable. The wifi went out. A toal disaster of a Labor Day weekend. And no response from dunes property about getting any money back. Will never rent from dunes again

Our goal is for all of our vacation guests to have a relaxing and fun experience on the Charleston Coast. Sometimes, just like at home, maintenance items occur. In this case, the HVAC was struggling. We live in a subtropical environment and HVAC systems are tested at maximum capacity. We scheduled 3 different HVAC companies within 3 days to try to correct. In this case, our response time was great, but the local vendors were unable to correct the problem.
