I have had an extremely frustrating experience dealing with Community Federal Savings Bank regarding a domestic Fedwire. A wire was sent from my bank account to CFSB on August 24, 2026. I subsequently discovered that I had entered an incorrect beneficiary account number and immediately contacted Citi to resolve the issue. my bank initially contacted CFSB to correct the beneficiary information. According CFSB instead requested that the original wire be recalled. my bank complied and submitted the recall requested by CFSB. Despite this, the funds have still not been returned after several business days, and obtaining any meaningful information directly from CFSB has been extremely difficult. I have now had to file a formal complaint with the appropriate U.S. banking regulator simply to obtain information and resolution. Based on my experience, CFSB's communication and handling of an exceptional wire-transfer situation have been extremely poor.

I was new to town, and opened a new account. Chase helped me get a small loan for my forever home. The girls at the local Draffinville branch are very friendly and awesome too.!

Do not go to this bank for a mortgage. They will bury you with document request, then sell the mortgage to a third party who will then sell it to the Feds. Then the audit requests start rolling in. Plenty of options other than this bank.

Marcus Bank will not link to CFSB. CFSB has seemingly little phone support

I came directly to the reviews because I see I have a letter coming in the mail from them unexpectedly and my stepdad who has passed away in 2018 go figure

Stay away from this bank. This bank supports the scammers. Even if you inform them about the scam, they will not take any action. They have an account for geminifin.com, which scammers operate. CFSB shows zero interest in taking any action. Stay way from this bank.

A scammer that had gotten me uses this bank I am now out all the money I had donated to me after my encounter with Helene and the destruction of my previous dwellings.
