This review is not about CESI it is about the poor quality of reviews here. I was not able to make a determination about CESI because of the lack of information contained in the reviews. I am on the fifth page of reading reviews and five pages of generic two liners like "Very helpful!: "Great people to work with!" and no specifics are NOT very helpful reviews at all! Furthermore, CESI did not provide an accurate date of the first ACH withdrawal on the contract (or so it seemed to me), and this misunderstanding of when the first payment would be due caused me to lose complete confidence in CESI. These two factors caused me to choose another debt management company, although I liked the customer service very much!

I call the 877 number I get ahold of a counselor he asked me my information. I'm thinking he's looking my account up. And once he finds out I have an account. He comes back with a you need to speak to customer service Jesus Christ no one can be that stupid

They will steal your money and it took them forever to resolve my account.

This company leads consumers to believe they can help you with at least one or more of your debts only to be told you do not qualify after running your credit report and lowering your credit score. I would not use this company or recommend them to help with any financial needs. I have no idea how they received a Aplus credit rating from the BBB??? Consumer beware!!!

they were never transparent throughout the entire process. WHen I finally decided I wanted to be done with them, I pulled out of my savings, paid of my debt. the next day Cesi withdrew the $5000+ AGAIN! It was a friday when they noticed it. After speakingw ith multiple managers and the "head of accounting" they promised the money would be back in my account by 5. I told the head of accounting that I will be calling right at 5 to let them know of what was happening. The managers and head of accounting had all left for the day at 4:45. So I was stuck with negative 4500 in my account. Bunch of ducking liars and scumbags. Call the credit card company and go into their debt program, duck these people. Edit: This in response to CESI's response... You are based in North Carolina and I was in Eastern Time. Don't try and use excuses. You screwed up, you didn't remedy the situaton, your managers were incredibly rude, and lastly (as I made this very very clear) I was stuck in the middle of upstate new york on the side of the road for the weekend. I should've just sued like I said I was going to.... Probably still have a case.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BANK INFORMATION!!!!!! I was double billed my first month in this program and they refused to fix their error. Their representative told me that it was my bank’s responsibility to fix CESI’s errors and refused to refund my money or transfer me to a supervisor. Extremely shady and predatory conduct AVOID.

Great at taking your money. Horrible at completing payments to your creditors and returning money that they “ accidentally” took.

Called on 6/6. Was told my refund checks were in the mail as of 5/26. Waited a week and a half from 6/6 after being informed to wait 5-10 business days. Between 5/26 and today (6/19) there are definitely more than 10 business days. So... I am now wondering where my money has gone off too.
