seriously the worst customer service! I usually don't write reviews, but my experience was so bad that I had to do it. Almost an hour wait for every call to them, and poor help once you are on the line. CB2 please get better.

CB2 has a beautiful website with stunning products, however, some of those products are virtual. "Backorder" they call it. So they will sell you the product, commit to a vague delivery date ("beginning of "/ "mid of"/ "end of") and may or may not delivery it to you without letting you know on any change in the timeframe if it's within less than 30 days of what they committed. They will take 50% of the price in advance. I have been calling and chatting with CB2 team for more than 4 times and their service and answers were poor. No one gave me answers on when the product will be delivered. One agent told me "I can guarantee you that someone will call you in 2 days". Guess what? no called. If you're thinking of buying from them, don't let their "stylish" design fool you, their service and commitment to the customers is bad.

Ordered the INDEX sofa and was appalled by the construction of this piece of furniture. The fabric began degrading and pilling up immediately. The arms began to crunch under only moderate pressure. (some kind of cheap foam? Any retail corporation that would actively try to defraud their customers with shoddy products, frankly doesn't deserve any customers. $1375 for this piece of garbage? Save your money and your sanity and shop elsewhere, people.

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service in the WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD. Absolutely not accommodating, and making my move 1000x more stressful than it already is. Initially promised us over the phone that they can deliver the very large pieces of furniture we ordered in store over a month ago in a delivery window we selected, but then called us the day before the move to tell us that they can't deliver until at least 5 hours later. If you live in NYC, you know that buildings don't let you reserve the freight elevator for that long. And when I proceeded to ask for a solve, the person got nasty and said "well, if you don't want it, we can reschedule," and then hung up on me. Needless to say, I'm livid. And I've been asking for a week about sending over a COI, still hasn't happened. About to return the full order and ask for a refund instead. CB2, you do not deserve my business.

CB2 and crate and barrel have the worst online shopping experience by far when compared to similar stores. First of all, they charge an exorbitant amount for shipping and shipping is extremely slow. Then, if an item doesn't work out or is defective, they charge another exorbitant amount for return shipping. With most places offering free 2-day shipping and free returns this aspect of CB2/CB is ridiculous. I have had to drive for 1 1/2 hours to my nearest store to return something before and when I brought the item in I got some attitude and was asked if the product box was undamaged (it was right in front of them and was clearly not damaged.) Its as if they were looking for excuses to "not accept my return." I just don't get it...They make you feel like a low life for returning something. Even after that happened, I stupidly ordered a couple of things recently.. and so today I called to start an online return of DEFECTIVE silverware (cheaply made and improperly stamped) and even the lady on the phone said, "it's better if you take it back to the store cause your return might not go through for over 4 weeks or NOT AT ALL." What kind of sketchy business practice is this?! Now I'm concerned they will keep their defective product and keep my money. I felt like that was a threat to get me to drive to store! Its too bad... I like so many of their products (some are actually well-made) but won't be ordering from them anymore.

Sketchy CB2 charged us thousands of dollars for expected delivery of furniture by end of March. It's mid April already and there is no updates or concrete date from CB2. Trying to reach out to CB2 customers service. My wait time is aprox. 1077 minutes!!! Are you nuts!? #cb2

Out of 3 purchases, two of the products have been a mess. One product was drilled to deep when assembled and damaged. The other when arrived was missing inserts for the center beam. These products have been full price and well of $1k each. In addition, my family members have had to take time off from work to be here when they redeliver or fix the mistakes that should not have occurred in the first place. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
