Well I didn't read any of this before ordering and now I'm just like the others. This place should be out of business. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had.

I originally purchased Bali bed (11/25/18) I was told it was back ordered until mid January. I called in because I did not receive any emails or calls from CB2 about my order (1/15/19). Now I learn it’s back ordered until end of February. And Agent said that is an estimate and the vendor can’t be contacted. I don’t believe CB2 can’t contact their vendors. It’s the lack of communication that has created this problem, not the back order. That being said I really have no idea if my order will be here at the end of Feb. and Cb2 wants me to wait and see. I should call back at the end of Feb to see if bed is in stock. To find out another 6 week delay? Who knows. CB2 will just wait and see if bed comes in? Maybe it will, maybe it won’t? Just keep on selling it with false in stock dates. They shouldn’t be selling furniture. I canceled my order and the credit was instant. They sure know how to do that! Will never buy from Otto gmbH (worldwide mail order company) parent company again. Euromarket Designs, inc. own Crate & Barrel & CB2 and are in turn owned by Otto gmbH. Terrible business people!

I placed an order in mid Nov for 2 stools from CB2. They arrived within the promised date but one of them arrived broken. CB2 customer service placed a replacement order on my behalf on 11/26 and gave me an estimate of early December delivery. When I check online, the order status is still "processing." I have tried contacting CB2 customer service by phone and email and only get automated messages that they have a high contact volume and will follow up when they can -- I've received no word on the status of my order. In this modern day of online ordering, it is completely unacceptable to have such poor follow through on order statuses and customer contacts. It makes me think that CB2 must be going out of business. I actually haven't experienced such poor service since the early days of online shopping. CB2 -- please take note: your operational processes need improvement or you will lose customers!

Alternatives to Crate and Barrel exist: The Restoration company. Crate and Barrel has been sued for stealing ideas - the company is struggling with outdated technology, poor customer care and inability to fulfill promises. As a customer care employee, you are trained to bounce around customers. A customer waits for 30 minutes to reach you, then you send them to another line of 40 minutes. The holiday trick now is to mark everything processing or shipped so that customers cannot cancel within an hour. That includes the weekend. Meanwhile, there is no one processing any of that stuff. The timelines you see on the website are all lies. The plan is to have you the customer pay the money, while customer care have a different true timeline. Online you will see availability of Mid January, the true availability is March then the deceit begins. The whole point is to make it hard enough that you wait for that March or whatever date they have. Also, the chemicals used in production of their items are not regulated - from overseas. Be careful not to poison your children. I work here.

We bought a sofa, the fabric pilled and customer service suggested we buy a gadget to shave off the pills. Can you imagine?! Anyway, they won't do anything to rectify, no discount, won't accept a return. Beware!!

Placed an order almost a month ago. Here we are almost mid-December, and I'm wondering if I will get the items that I ordered as gifts for family. Contact CB2 customer service through chat multiple times. They give me exact dates for delivery - "at the latest" they say. Those dates have come and gone. This during a season that makes or breaks sales for companies, the negligence is breathtaking. Will absolutely never order from them again. It's too bad. They do have some cool stuff, but they just don't deliver - literally.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! 1: They have zero communication with their own financial team and Credit Card. It's a nightmare to use their credit card for an order. 2: Their employees read off a script and have zero control to actually solve an issue. 3: The wait on the phone is absolutely ridiculous. 4: Overall they could not give a damn about a customer or an order.

NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED WITH A BUSINESS Ordered merchandise online. Scheduled delivery was nearly two weeks ago. I've waited on the phone 4 times, collectively for over 2 hours. I tried the call back feature - never got a call. Tried emailing - never got a response (other than the generic "woe-is-me-we're-so-busy-over-the-holidays" email. Seriously, is this your first holiday rodeo?) Let's get one thing clear CB2: You're one of THOUSANDS of stores with holiday deals, yet you're the ONLY one who doesn't have its sh%* together. Every other purchase I made came on time. That's what customers expect when they dish out their hard-earned money - especially for your over-priced decor. I would LOVE to receive my order sometime before 2020 / 2021. Then, I'd love to throw it out of a fourth story window just to show you how disgusted I am with your business. Believe me, it will be the last time I purchase from you or Crate&Barrel.
