These guys are thieves, I accidentally used their website thinking it was the DMV’s, they charged 190$ for a new title (way overpriced first of all) and then they refused to issue me a refund even though I cancelled the service and no service was provided, I said ok whatever I’ll just dispute the charge with my bank, then they have the audacity to send me their “dispute policy” which says I will be responsible for all fees related to the dispute which could range from $250-$1000, whether it gets approved or not hahahaha you can’t hate them enough, do NOT trust this company with your money

Definitely not worth the money. What they do can 100% be done by the person requesting the duplicate title. Service is no faster. They fill out a form digitally, with all the info you fill in. Put some sticky notes on the paper. You mail it back to them and HOPEFULLY they will mail it to the necessary authority. Still takes 2-6 weeks to get anything back. SAVR YOUr MONEY!!! NO WORTH THE EXPENSE!

Be sure to read the Terms and Conditions before paying. What stood out to me was the repeated emphasis on no refunds, restrictions on chargebacks, and statements suggesting disputes are typically resolved in the company’s favor. When I raised concerns about errors in the paperwork I received and what I felt was an obvious lack of effort in preparing my documents, I expected the company to address those concerns directly. Instead, we went back and forth approximately ten times through emails, and many of the responses focused on their no-refund policy, chargeback restrictions, and other language that I felt was intended to discourage me from pursuing the matter further. It did not discourage me from disputing what I believed was a subpar product, and it should not discourage anyone else from standing up for themselves either. I spent a few hours organizing the facts, communications, and supporting documentation for my case while Alex, Amy, and CarTitles.com submitted a 58-page response to the dispute. Much of it, in my opinion, consisted of repetitive arguments and references to company policies rather than addressing the specific concerns I had raised. After reviewing all of the evidence, Chase and Visa ultimately agreed with my position and ruled in my favor. My recommendation is to thoroughly understand exactly what you’re purchasing, ask detailed questions about what work will actually be performed on your behalf, and carefully review any documents you receive for accuracy. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again, and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Unfortunately, I did not look at the BBB reviews. What people are saying there is true. I paid $369 to get a title and cancelled the service before they had done anything at all because i resolved the problem myself a few days later. They had emailed me a questionaire to fillout and asked for a copy of my license which i never even provided. They refused to return my money. This is scam.

I have owned my Audi and misplaced the title. I had to order a duplicate in order to trade in my vehicle for a new one. I filled out the paperwork and paid the fee. 5 weeks later, I received a letter from PennDOT that my car is not titled in PA any longer. I immediately did a CarFax and learned that 2 weeks after I used this company an provided my VIN number, my title was transferred in the state of Montana to a third party. The ONLY way that my car title could have landed in these criminal's hands is through whoever was "helping" me. Records show it was transferred on February 26, 2026, 3 weeks after I provided Cartitiles.com my information. I now have PA State police involved and it is a disaster. And now, they are not responding to my inquiries. These people and/or the people that "helped" me are criminals!!!!!

We’re very sorry to hear about this situation and understand how concerning this must be. We take matters like this extremely seriously and want to clarify that our role in your case was limited to submitting a duplicate title request with PennDOT using the documentation you provided. We do not have the ability to transfer ownership of a vehicle, and a VIN alone is not sufficient to complete a title transfer. Based on our records, your application was submitted to the Pennsylvania DMV, and the check was processed by them. We have not received any indication from the state that a transfer was initiated through our request. We absolutely want to help get to the bottom of this. If you have any documentation from PennDOT, CarFax, or law enforcement showing the transfer details, please share it with us so we can review internally and assist however possible. We have also been responding to your inquiries and remain available to work with you directly on this matter. Please feel free to contact us so we can continue assisting.

Do not waste your money, just go straight to the BMV/DMV of the state you're requesting the title from. For $15 you will save yourself the absolute headache you get from cartitles. They ignore, pass the buck, and are not very competent at all especially for a simple title request with a lien release and address change....they give you bad advice, too, such as to include a pre-paid overnight envelope for the issuing DMV to use because they DON'T use them. My $32 envelope went straight into Indiana's BMV mailroom trash can. It's been almost 3 months and I still have no title. Ariel refuses to even answer my emails. 100% do not recommend! After reading the reply I stand 100% by my review. Save your money, do it yourself. There is no advantage to using this company. You will not save time, and will be out $189 plus $32 for a useless prepaid overnight envelope that goes into the trash. They can say whatever they want, but this was not a satisfactory experience whatsoever. If "zero stars" were an option, I'd be using it.

We take feedback seriously, but we do want to clarify a few important points. First, we have not ignored your case. All emails received were responded to, and your file has been actively processed based on the documentation provided. At no point was your order abandoned or passed off without action. Regarding the prepaid overnight envelope, while some DMV offices choose not to use customer-provided envelopes, others do. This suggestion is provided as an optional step to potentially speed up return mailing, but ultimately the DMV determines how outgoing mail is handled. That decision is outside of our control. Additionally, the timeline for title issuance is determined entirely by the Indiana BMV. Once an application is submitted, we must wait for their internal processing, which can vary and is not something we can expedite directly. We understand delays are frustrating. However, we have followed the required procedures and remained available throughout the process. If you would like to escalate your case or review the status in detail, we are happy to do so directly. Our goal is always to assist customers through what can sometimes be a complicated DMV process.

I requested a duplicate auto title on a Wednesday, found my original title that Friday and requested a refund. They requested additional forms in order to cancel my order which I sent immediately only for them to tell me there were no refunds. Don’t use this company until you have searched everywhere for your original title. Read all the fine print before paying. I’ve told my coworkers and friends this.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be to locate an original title shortly after placing an order. As outlined in our Terms and Conditions at checkout, our services begin immediately once an order is submitted, including document preparation and case review. For that reason, refunds are not guaranteed once processing has started. The additional form you were asked to complete is part of our standard process whenever a refund request is submitted, even if the request ultimately cannot be approved. We appreciate your feedback and understand your point about ensuring all options are exhausted before placing an order. This is something we actively encourage and continue to emphasize so customers can make the most informed decision possible. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective.
