I purchased this warranty in 2017. I paid off my policy in full before utilizing a claim. My oil pump messed up and needed to be fixed, which is a covered part under the warranty. I took my car to an automotive shop and it took a month of going back and forth with CareSure to try and fix my car. I sent in 18 months worth of matience records and all. Finally after a month i literally called on a daily basis. My claim was denied for a covered part and i decided to cancel my policy. I sent in my cancellation letter January 25, 2019 and was told it takes 6-10 business to process. Here it is almost February 25, 2019 and im still being told my refunf for my policy is being sent out on friday. This company lies so much and they dont have a clue about how contracts are supposed to upheld. I have been told every friday for the last 3 weeks my refund amount will be sent on Friday. I still haven't gotten my money yet. DON'T PURCHASE A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND EVEN AFTER CANCELING YOUR CONTRACT AND WANTING YOUR MONEY BACK!!!

I received a card in the mail
I received a card in the mail. I called to see what they offered since my warranty had ran out . I couldnt afford what they offered, $5100, so the lady I was talking with got a supervisor on the phone. She worked trying to get the down payment down and the monthly payment down. $240 down payment with monthly payments being $147 for 24 months, would I like to use my debit or credit card I said neither I can't afford that. I barely make it from paycheck to paycheck right now. I said I could barely save $200 a month for emergencies. Then she started in with, well how are u going to pay to fix your vehicle when it breaks down? You bought a car with high milage and no warranty, how are you going to pay for repairs? Both incorrect. It was at 68,000 when I bought it, thats not high milage these days and I still had factory warranty. She continue to argue with me that I could put it on my credit card every month and I said no I have enough credit card debt. Then she argued I could save $200 a month for emergencies but I couldn't use that to pay for this extended warranty offer. I finally hung up. What business of it is hers how I pay for repairs if they happen? There warranty may or may not be good. I could definitely use and extended warranty but it not be with this company. For $5100 covering just 50,000 miles more Ill take my chances. Its what you do when u buy used, take a chance.

Biggest scumbags ever
Biggest scumbags ever, purchased a policy for $3148 and time to file a claim they refused to honor my claim. Will never do business with them again and filing a claim with the BBB to recoup my money.

Hi Mr Gabbidon,
I'm sorry to hear about your recent negative experience. We've spent some time reviewing your claim and other various calls and customer service requests associated with your account. Unfortunately, this is not a covered repair due to the cause of failure - which was essentially a leaking seal.
As our team explained when you called, your vehicle had a boot leak, causing failure to the rack in pinion - thus the claim can't be covered. See page 3, section 11: Seals and gaskets are covered only in conjunction with the repair or replacement of a covered part. Leaking and/or failed seals and gaskets as standalone repairs are not covered by this contract.
I'm sorry for any confusion.
Thank you,
- CarSure Team

extremely disappointed Car Sure customer
They talk pretty when trying to hook you to be their client. They assure you that now you are in good hands. Well surprise, you are in good hands, to be robbed. !!!!! My 2014 GMC Acadia recently experienced rear section A/C problems. I called the customer support and asked if I could take it to my dealer ship and was told to do so and have the dealer call Car Sure. They told the dealer that the rear evaporator core would have to be removed for inspection by one of their adjusters. My dealer called me and told me that to remove the rear core some one would have to pay $250.00. They told me that if Car Sure would not deny the claim for repairs all I would have to pay would be my $100.00 deductible. Well guess what? After a week without my vehicle, Car Sure denied the claim stating that it had been the cause of corrosion and they wouldn't cover it. I have been paying Car Sure for the past 15 months, over $180.00 per mo. and had never needed them. When you need them the most, is when they will not release a penny to help you. Thanks car sure SCROOGE. YOU CAN BET I'M CANCELING

Mugabi Jumba -
I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your recent vehicle repair. We've throughly reviewed your account & converations with our customer service team members and believe this is just a misunderstanding about what is actually covered and what isn't.
Our Service Contracts do not cover pre-existing problems or issues with your car. In this instance, your radio was having issues before you purchased your policy (as you mentioned to us in your call). And, according to the repair facility, the A/C hose had previously been repaired poorly - indicating it to was an issue prior to getting coverage.
Again, I apologize for any confusion, and hope we can continue to cover your car from all future covered breakdowns.
Thank You,
-CarSure Team

Called the number for claiming…
Called the number for claiming 888-245-8825 they don't know who Carsure is or American Auto Shield is. In fact, it is the number for century 21 who deals in real estate. Canceling this fake car fixing crap.
Update. I was right they denied my claim. Don't buy this crap. This does not cover anything that your dealer doesn't cover. The drive train is covered by your company. I was told by the sales rep that this would cover everything my Honda dealer would not. It's a lie. Below is what they don't cover. You can decide.Oh yeah they will tell you that they cover sensors and your A/C. If you have sensor problems or A/C problems you might get something. Again canceling this crap.

Mr Mora -
The number you mentioned in your review (888-245-8825) connects immediately to American Auto Shield, the admin of the Vehicle Service Contract you purchased through CarSure. You most likely mis-dialed. Our records indicate you were able to contact our Customer Service team (866-CarSure) shortly after you posted your initial review, and we were able to give you an alternative phone number for American Auto Shield.
The claim you filed with American Auto Shield was for a burnt out bulb for the headlight of your vehicle. Your coverage policy doesn't cover light bulb replacment, or many other parts that are designed to wear down over time. All the information you listed in your review is available on our website as a sample contract, and you get a copy of your coverage details.
We are not trying to hide anything from our customers - you can download samples of our various plans here:

And our Customer Service team is always ready to answer questions about coverage options and policy details.
Thank you,
