Slow scroll
The current page design is a pain in the a$$. You try to scroll down and the ad pop ups take over and pull you back up again. And it's just too damn busy to look at. It used to be a decent site. Why did you mess with a good thing?

How do you know if the ad is a scam?
I've been emailing, texting, and calling a seller but no replies. Either they really don't want to sell the vehicle or it's a scam ad. Does CarSoup.com screen the sellers?

Thank you for letting us know about your experience with the vehicle seller. We do have filters in place to screen the ads that are placed on our site. However, some scam ads do slip through those filters and are published. When we discover such ads, we flag the user as fraud and remove the ad from the site – such was the case here, and we apologize that you ran into this issue.

Did not get much out of this site

No response from seller.

A facade of integration
Terrible luck actually getting a dealer to respond. Seems like Carsoup's bots just tell you the seller will be in touch and nothing further happens.

Disappointed
Was interested in a car and emailed the seller but the seller never answered our email. Understand the need to be cautious on the internet, but it would be better if there was a phone number to call instead of waiting for an email back. Then the next day, I tried to get on carsoup but the internet site must have been down because i couldn't get on. Found a car on craigslist instead and am now driving it. Can't say I'd recommend carsoup.com to anyone I know.

We can understand your frustration with Carsoup.com not being available. As you are no doubt aware by now, there were multiple, large-scale cyber-attacks today against Dyn, a major provider of Domain Name Servers (DNS). DNS acts as the Internet’s phone book, allowing people to access individual websites. This attack, widespread across the United States, has rendered sites like CNN, Twitter, Spotify, PayPal and others inaccessible. Unfortunately, CarSoup.com was included in the outage too. To further compound the issue, the issues caused a hardware failure in our firewall. To protect all of our users information, we kept the site down until the firewall could be replaced. Related to the phone number not being on the ad, we allow Private Party advertisers to choose whether or not they want a phone number listed. This feature is at the request of many vehicle sellers who were not comfortable giving out their home or cell phone number. we did get to see Ford F-150 Trucks with a long bed
How can you say you can find the Truck we needed when there wasn't one that we could see.
