Thank you for your feedback on your experience. We apologize that you had issues getting in contact with the vehicle seller. Because we do not own the vehicles, we do not manage the listings on CarSoup.com, but we did also try to reach out to the dealership to notify them that you were interested and that you had submitted feedback related to that shopping experience. We are glad that aside from the lack of response from the vehicle seller, that you found CarSoup.com to be helpful. CarSoup.com strongly encourages vehicle sellers to actively manage their vehicle listings, including responding to interested buyers. However, it is ultimately up to the seller to manage the listing/responses to interested parties since they actually own the vehicles, not CarSoup.com. We hope that by allowing buyers to see vehicles for sale in one place from a large variety of local sellers that it helps make car searching easier and saves shoppers time, but it does not seem like we were able to help you in this instance. We apologize that you did not find our site to be helpful in your car search. Thank you for your feedback - we will keep encouraging sellers to actively manage their listings to help reduce experiences like yours in the future.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience using CarSoup.com. We apologize that you received emails you did not ask for from CarSoup.com, but we want to assure you that your email will be added to our Opt-Out list. This means you should no longer receive marketing messages from us in the future. If you submit your email on a form on our site, there are some automated "transaction" type emails that may have been sent to you. By "transaction" emails, I mean you could have received a confirmation email that your message was submitted or that you signed up for something, or you could have received the automated invitation email to review us on Trustpilot. However, now that we know you do not wish to receive marketing emails, you are being added to the Opt-Out list.

Thank you for reaching out to let us know about a potentially fraudulent vehicle. We have already reported the vehicle in question as fraud now that you have notified us, so it will come down from the site. I apologize that you ran into this issue. We do our best to prevent fraud but unfortunately there is no way to eliminate it completely. In an effort to remove fraudulent vehicles from the site, we do have a flag on the top of each listing that says “Report a Problem” so if a user finds a potentially fraudulent vehicle it can be investigated and removed by the CarSoup.com team if it is found to be fraud.

We want to apologize that you have been experiencing issues with your listing on CarSoup.com. Your situation is not the typical experience that sellers have on our website, and we want to do anything we can to help you. Our records show that a few people have reached out to you through your My Garage account. These inquires generate an email that goes to the email address you used to sign up for a CarSoup.com account. However, sometimes emails can go to your spam email box if you have not received an email from the address before. This is part of the reason why we have the My Garage account feature. My Garage allows you to manage your advertisement and see your responses in one place. If you still have not sold your vehicle and would like some more tips on how to successfully sell your vehicle, one of our customer service staff can reach out to you to set up a time to review your listing and provide suggestions on how to effectively position your advertisement on CarSoup.com.

We do not have any record of the server going down over the weekend. On average CarSoup.com’s page load speed keeps up with the competition, but page load speed will always vary based on time of day, location and your Internet service provider. We recommend contacting your internet provider if you are continuing to have issues with the pages loading. If there is anything we can do to help you further, please let us know!

Because CarSoup.com does not own the vehicles being sold on our website, we do not directly profit off of vehicle sales on our site. CarSoup.com is the platform in which dealers and private sellers can list their vehicles - CarSoup.com provides the tools and space online for these vehicle sellers. However, we apologize that you felt bombarded with advertisements.
