I will never dine at Carrabbas Italian Grill in Ellicott City, MD, again! My family and I made reservations to celebrate my daughter's birthday. My granddaughter made reservations well ahead of time. When I arrived ahead of the group about 5 minutes late, there was no table reserved for our party of seven. The hostess could not find our name on reservations list. When she did clear a table, she seated us without providing utensils (I don't know if we were expected to eat with our hands). After placing our orders and waiting an abnormally long time for our food and drinks, we had a pleasant enough time. Servings were large and satisfying but hostess planted a bad seed in my mind from the very beginning. Why make a reservation and no table be ready when you get there????

The portion of food that I paid for was unacceptable. I understand things happen but to have only a spoon full of food for an order doesn't make sense.

We have been customers of Carraba's for over 15 years, It seems that the penny pinching and ripping off the customers has become an accepted policy at these restaurants. Hot bread - limited to 1 slice per person, on 4 people. When asked for extra bread they came up with the following: 1. I will order it- never got to the table 2, It is in the oven-never got to the table 3. The bread never came as we got tired of reminding the waitress and continuously asking for the bread The steak marsala was brought 45 minutes after ordering it and it was cold and not grilled enough. Just a matter of time before someone will get sick from meat not being cooked enough. The marsala sauce was ice cold. It was disgusting and almost make me throw up. The meat was chewy and tasted more like a wild animal's meat rather than a steak. We ordered a pitcher of sangria for $39,00. They brought us half a pitcher. Why is Carabba's ripping off their clients? It seems that there is no shame on the part of Carabba's or the owner Continuing this path will probably close the restaurant on the long run. I am surprised that Carabba's is not yet in receivership with the crappy food, poor service. What an excuse for a crappy restaurant with cold disgusting food!!!!!! Already we saw that half the restaurant was empty. Just a matter of time before they close this place down for good!!!! Go spend your hard earned money in another restaurant!!!!!

I ordered the Johnny Rocco salad with shrimp and scallops for $26. It clearly states Romaine lettuce J got iceberg that was turning brown. I had to ask for a drink refill and the restaurant was not busy. Why dine here when you get better lettuce at chic fila? I am sick of not getting what you are overpaying for. Goodbye Carraba.

Drove 12 miles one way at $4+ a gallon to have WINGS! They have no WINGS at Palm Bay location today-Friday 6/19-so don’t drive outta ur way for wings at carrabbas!

Family member picked up a to go order at Hendersonville, TN . This was supposed to be a $24 salad with shrimp and scallops. No scallops, no shrimp, just lettuce with a couple pieces of red pepper. Called manager and he gave a partial refund! Poor management! Worst service and food we’ve ever had and we are a frequent customers! Thanks for $2 worth of lettuce!

We came to the Canton, OH location to celebrate my son's birthday. First, I want to press the importance that our waitress was beyond wonderful. Now, with that being said, the entire experience was awful. We ordered the garlic sticks appetizer with a side of alfredo. The garlic sticks tasted like dish soap, and the alfredo sauce was the consistency of milk. We asked our waitress if this was how it was on the fettucine and she explained to us that they add cheese when the cooks use it in pasta to make it thicker. Salads came with our meals and the salad dressing (creamy parmesan) tasted like anchovies. Which is a no due to allergies. Salads needless to say were taken away. The meals came and the fettucine alfredo was cold, and the sauce was the milk texture. The chicken parmesan was to have rigatoni on the side and alfredo sauce instead of red sauce. It was 2 chicken cutlets with cheese melted on it and nothing else. No side of pasta, nothing. Needless to say, this experience for $105 was not worth it. The only good things were the french fries and our waitress was kind enough to bring my son an ice cream w candle for his birthday.

Does anyone in the restaurant check the seasoning. I have noticed how salty the food is and how much cracked pepper is piled onto the food. I got food to go and once home I struggled to eat the Fettuccine Carrabbas. Far too much seasoning to the level that it completely overpowers the food. Too much money to pay for too much salt and pepper. I think everyone there has over time built up a tolerance but Italian is a blend of fresh flavors and should not just taste of the seasoning.
