I was sceptical about purchasing this due to the poor reviews, however I’m happy to say it works perfectly. No more having to plug in my phone every time I get in the car. It auto connects to the phone and opens CarPlay on the screen in the car.

Was slightly worried by the online comments concerning customer service but I couldn’t fault Irene who kept in contact all the way through the shipping process. I was provided with shipping info for most of the journey and the adapter arrived when they said it would. So, does it work? We’ll, yes....most of the time! When I plugged it into my Jaguar I-Pace it connected and voila! Wireless Apple CarPlay! And 99% of the time when I get in with my phone in my pocket, it just connects. And then occasionally it doesn’t. But...all you have to do is unplug the adapter from the usb and plug it in again and, for the convenience it provides, it’s well worth that slight, occasional, glitch. Great product! And, a couple of weeks later, whether it was updated over the air I don’t know, but it now works 100% of the time. Not failed once!

Been using theCarPlay2Air adapter with my 2020 Toyota Aygo since October 2020 and have to say it works perfectly, I've had none of the issues that many reviewers mention. Since it's working well I don't plan to do any update on the basis of "it ain't broke so don't fix it"

Really easy to set up (Audi A5, 2017). Works flawlessly. Extremely happy with my purchase.

I bought this in August 2020. CarPlay2Air works perfectly with a KIA e-Niro (model '4' 2020), with all steering controls working and automatic log-on as soon as the car is started. Perhaps the CarPlay installation on some cars isn't playing nicely with the firmware on the adaptor.
