Carmel Car & LimousineReviews of carmellimo.com

Gave 1 star because cannot be 0. Followed the instructions, called after getting bags and they said 15 minutes. Called back in 20 and was told they did not have cars, go find a different service. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

Had 2 week old reservation for a pickup at JFK for tonight, 11/28. I called once landed from plane and they said 10 minutes after bag. I called when I got bag and they said 10 min. 30 min later called back and they said 1 hour for the SUV for my wife and 4 kids under 10 years. I complained and they offered a van which I took as kids were tired. Smelly, old van with a lovely driver. A reservation is only a booking with no guarantee of a pickup. Their only excuse was that drivers did not want to come to JFK. Never again Carmel Limo. Last time driver who spoke no English but not only managed to push and ride the break often, but also managed to pump gas pedal so much I got nauseous. Complaint got me refund of $8 of $78.

Had fraudulent charges on my card from this company. They still haven't refunded it to my bank.

We booked a car to Newark Airport from Manhattan for this morning at 6. They cancelled our car at the very last moment ! Never ever use Carmel ! They are completely untrustworthy !

Requested a pickup at airport to go to hotel and meeting. Verified the day before. Supplied all information as requested. Driver never showed called company handling pickup and the number was not receiving calls or text messages. Called limo company they were unable to get hold of the vendor. Sent another car took one hour and fifteen minutes. Driver was not wearing a mask with the A/C blowing at full speed. Asked him to wear mask and turn down A/C ignored me. Would not recommend these people not to mention charged me double for what an Uber costs all to be late to my meeting. Stay Away!!!!! Asked for a refund they told me to go pound salt.

We had a limo set to pick us up at the airport. Two hours later the vehicle arrived. I was told to contact customer service for a refund. After five phone calls to customer service, I have yet to receive a return call. The driver of the vehicle was so bold as to tell us "It's been a busy night, you are lucky we picked you up." Never use them.

If it was at all possible I wouldn't give them any stars Horrible!!! Left myself and five others stranded at the airport and still got charged. I am in the process of fighting to get a refund. What a grueling process

This company is a liar and a scam. They will tell you they have availability and wait until after you pay to tell you they don't. Then, they'll apologize and give you an "upgrade" but actually downgrade your vehicle and not even refund the extra money you already paid. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy company, look somewhere else.
