SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! I purchased three of the hummingbird necklaces, and they came with a bonus of three sets of hummingbird earrings. I chose these for my daughters. You see we recently lost my mother, who was very fond of hummingbirds and I thought this would be a great way to keep her memory alive for my daughters. The items that I purchased, based on the website were not at all like what I received. On the website, they look like they were hand crafted, similar to a stained glass window with the leaded filament holding the glass pieces together. What I received looked like the "Shrinky-dinks" that my daughters used to make by melting the plastic pieces in the oven when they were five. It looked like (it is) a molded piece of clear plastic. Yes, it is a piece of plastic that is a hummingbird, and that is where the similarity ends. I reached out to "Carla" and asked how I might return these because they are not at all like how they are represented on the website. On the website they look like a bespoke piece of jewelry, and I received a cheap piece of plastic with a hook molded into it. Further I was disappointed because the photos give the appearance of a handmade product, and this is none of that. The price I paid could was the appropriate price for a handmade product. I was hesitant to make the order in the first place, because the pieces were rather expensive, but I finally did because the website says, "Easy returns, no questions asked". After two weeks of waiting I heard back from "Carla". She said she could not accept a return because she wants to close her store. I told her the website says, "Easy returns no questions asked". She said it did say that but she would not accept my return. Instead she could offer me 20% off another purchase. I was very upset as I tried to get my daughters something to remember their grandmother with and all I got was this bag of cheap molded plastic. In addition I ordered these items in early October and did not receive them till just before Thanksgiving. The shipping updates indicated that the pieces had to go through customs (i.e. probably made in China). While waiting for "Carla" to first respond, I found the same pieces of plastic on several other websites. Not similar looking, I found these same pieces, with some of the exact same pictures. So clearly these are not handmade. I went back to Carla's web page, nowhere does it say the word "Handmade", but it uses that kind of language and it does show a picture of some tools that a jewler would use. This is VERY MISLEADING! After.several more attempts to reach "Carla", I did not hear back from her. So I am stuck with this collection of very cheap molded plastic garbage that I would not give to anyone. She said she is closing the store. It is my feeling that these "Stores" come and go and all seem to have these long, drawn-out "Going out of business" sales, and when they are done they take that same merchandise and sell it as new on another website. Soon that website will have the same sale. I am disappointed with the quality of the product. What I received is nothing like what is pictured. It says, "No questions asked" returns. That was not truthful. It indicates a hand-made, sort of bespoke type of product, it IS a cheap product that had to be imported, because it was molded in a factory. Please do not waste your money on this garbage! Do not make the same mistake I did.

These earrings came from overseas not from the grandma in the picture they show that is retiring! Lies! These earrings are not 925 sterling silver! What a scam! Cheap! I want my money back!

Jewelry owl earrings were cheap and not worth $30 some dollars. Waste of money. Don't waste your money on their products!!!!!

Still haven't heard back after their response, and me giving them the information they requested. Here's what they said. Hi Glenn, I just read your Trustpilot review, and I'm truly sorry you had this experience. It's clear that your earrings and necklace were sent to the wrong address despite you telling us the correct one—and then we left you waiting for a replacement. That's not the service I want anyone to receive from Carla Jewelry, and I sincerely apologize. I want to make this right. Here's what I'd like to do: I can send you a replacement of both pieces at no extra cost right away, or if you'd prefer, I can arrange a full refund instead. Either way, I'll personally make sure this gets sorted quickly. Could you reply directly to this email and let me know which option works best for you? My experience same as Marsha Scotten posted 10/21/2025. Never received product in spite of shipping company reported lost in transit. An email arrived after i posted this. Sorry about experience. Contact customer service to resolve. No contact info included. Website appears down. Tried multiple ways to find contact info. Before giving this business a 1. I sent multiple emails and even got replies but nothing by way of resolution.

Placed order October 30 and received message on November 12 that my order was delivered. Immediately replied that I did not receive the order. Received an automated message that a team member would contact me. Have yet to receive any response. I have emailed several times since then with no response. No phone number to call.

I ordered “jeweled” earrings for my mother’s birthday. The matching necklace was supposed to be included. When the earrings arrived not only was the necklace not there, but the earrings are flat colored plastic. They are not jeweled and are of middling quality. I emailed back and forth with Carla over about two weeks. They promised me a 50% refund which never came. Now I’m just donating these $30 earrings because it’s too embarrassing to give them as a present.

Carla Jewelry is a SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CARLA JEWELRY. The items I ordered look nothing like what is advertised on their website and nothing like the description! I received cheap plastic ornaments, that look like something you would get in a gum ball machine. Their customer service is trash and they do not respond to you. I purchased items that I planned to gift to family members, but 1. I NEVER received half of my order and 2., what I did receive, I would NEVER gift to someone that I care for and love. Their jewelry is trash and these reviews saying otherwise are fake. Not only that, they advertise that you will receive your order in a nice jewelry box, that you never receive. Instead it arrives in a cheap looking piece of plastic, that only adds to the cheap piece of “jewelry” that they claim to be selling. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why they’re going out of business (if that’s even true) - THEY’RE LIARS AND THEIR PRODUCTS ARE TRASH!
